In the dark of the night, with the new moon, as black as can be, with ravens of the sky crowing across the slums while every citizen slept silently...except one. The vicious Corvina crawled across the misty alley ways, dragging a sack full of equipment she needed to perform what she believed was the "solution" to her problems.....Making her way towards the Sea Port, strolling deeper into the darkness, coughing with her raspy, old voice she had; her eyes sparking with evil and deception....She reached a dead end of an alley which lead to a small, isolated cemetary, where the dead of the accused were barried. No one would dare enter this dominion of cursed rage from the souls of the punished and the damned; the citizens of Paris were terrified of this cemetary...a place believed to be known as the seance of the dark spirits, condemned to death for there treacherous deeds.......Corvina coughed dramatically, as her old, sagged legs began to shake from her weariness and old age. Her hands were drained bones, with purple vains and rusted, spidery fingernails that frightened anyone who looked upon them. This woman was feared by all, all who lived among her; everyone considered her to be a damned witch who enjoyed innocents suffering; who practiced dark evil and worship false idols; who's hate was shown by all, terrified on what she might do next.......It was said she killed a man, because he called her a "witch"; and that man disappeared suddenly, as people felt the evil aura of Corvina, leaving her tracks to his disappearance....She was feared by all.
Corvina began to empty her heavy sack; revealing many objects that seemed to be of great importance; wondering how she layed her hands upon them; and some objects that were very familiar, something people would read in legends about forbidden objects that can only be wield by evil.....Corvina was preparing the ritual; the ritual that was suppose to vanquish all whom shun her; who ruined her very being; who killed her race off one by one.....And so, she blamed the royals of France; the royals of Europe.....she detested every bloodline of royalty...for what they've done to her race..for what they've done to corrupt her so.......
Blinded with hate and rage....Corvina finished preparing the needs of the dark ritual. A wooden table from the corner of a tombstone was placed in the center, draped with a red, ragged fabric, filled with dust and fibers of the sack. Six candles were lit, forming a circle; in the center of the luminous light layed a black book, a dead rose, three rusted teeth, a lock of hair, a vile of blood, a broken pocket watch, a rare jewel, a small box, and a few teared pieces of flags that seemed to come from countries of europe.......Corvina placed of her black veil above her head; she then took her dagger and pricked her finger, splattering small spects of her blood on top of the black book.......Corvina was finally ready to begin the final chapter of the end...with her cackling, raspy, old voice...she began to speak....
"Forces of the depths of pure darkness...I am your humble Servant. Hear my prayer, for I bled my life for you. The time of the end has come, I shall now submit my offerings to you, Oh dark entities that dwell in my heart......"
Corvina lights a match and burns the wood she set to create a bonfire, surrounded with human skulls and drops of her own blood to conceal the black magic at its place.......She then begins to show her offerings to whom she believed an entity had appeared.....
She takes the six lit candles, holding three on each hand and says "Six I lay upon you. A number that suits you well and represents the deaths of the six I've killed in the past month for you!" She throws the candles in the fire. "A pure rose, drained away from its beauty, in my hope to become beautiful and young again once this burns in your flame!" She throws the dead rose in the fire. "Three teeth of damned souls, whom I use to call mother, father, and brother. I freely give you their souls to keep; a sacrifice from them!" She throws the teeth into the fire. "Hair of a leper, may every soul suffer as they live in violence and fear!" She throws the lock of hair into the fire. "My blood, whom I shed for you, oh Dark One. May this covenant forever be yours! As for my soul, let it be consumed by you!" She throws the vile into the fire, breaking the glass and letting the blood splatter in the flames. "A time turner! Let their history forever be smothered in the darkness, and speed time as we know it! For I shall wield time!" She throws the pocket watch into the flames. "A jewel of luxury! Only I shall behold wealth and beauty. Let those whom live among wealth covert to poverty and emptiness! A life with no riches!" She then threw the jewel into the fire...Corvina then takes the box. An old box which looked fragile and had sealed markings on it. The condition of the paint was tearing apart, and the lock was already unlocked, very weak to even beheld. Corvina snared and opened the box with a haunting grin. Inside revealed a tiara; the tiara that once belonged to the lost royal of France...with this forbidden treasure, this mystery that has been sealed for more than a decade, Corvina continues her haunting spell...."With this precious item, a tiara that belonged to Eponine Daae, the lost princess that was shun by her own kingdom; all the mystery and moments that were to be revealed in the future shall be forever LOST! And with this, my victims of pure shame and disgrace shall be blind and forget what whom they are and who they are to become! May their memories DIE with this lost treasure, forever more!" A sudden moment that will forever change the lives of Aurora and Eponine are now lost, Corvina throws the tiara with a cackle; she breathes heavily of relief and joy that she has destroyed the most precious item of all the history of France.....forever lost....."And now, my final items" She laughs, feeling the darkness of the entity that breathed now her neck; feeling the happiness of an evil demon......"The countries that shun my people, that shun me, shall forever die and remain in this curse! Let them suffer the way I have suffered! Once before, the nightmare was me! Now....the nightmare is them!" She throws the European sealed monarchy flags in the fire....each country that brutally killed off the gypsies and made Corvina's life a living hell.........She has completed the ritual and she felt that the entity was satisfied........"My deal is done...let me breath life again!"
The wind began to blow dramatically, turning off every candlelight that was lit in every household.....the moon suddenly became full, beaming its light to all of France.......Corvina laughs and falls to her knees....her veil flew away with the wind and she began to breath hesitantly.....her final words spat out as she continued to laugh dramatically.....she says..."Let the darkness be set free....I shall live for all eternity....."
