The quest, day 8

As boredom strikes unknown...
Nothing happened today. Ate some ramen. Sat on a cold hard rock looking for pokemon. Almost fell off a cliff. Other than that, nothing.

The quest, day 9

A Parade of the Ravenous
Well, me and my pokes were chowing down on some ramen I had cooked up for us...In the middle of our meal, this tiny little sentret bulls into our camp and prepares to dive right into my pot! However, he's saved by who I presume is his trainer. She seems like a decent person, so I invited them for some dinner...

Trouble in the Emerald Paradise
As we eat our dinner, we sit on a little clifftop rising above the emerald colored canopy of trees that is Viridian Forest...And there are stormclouds to the north. It doesn't look like I have enough supplies to rough the storm in my tent, so I plan to head back to Pewter City and find shelter in the pokemon center. I think this one we may have to wait out...

The quest, day 10

Striding in troubled waters
The unknown trainer revealed herself to be a girl named Strider, a fellow person from pallet. Her sentret is Madradox, a newborn that is very inquisitive about everything. I invited her to travel with me, seeing as I hafta head back to Pewter to wait out the snowstorm...It is approaching quickly, and already my pokemon's moods are affected...

The quest, day 11

When all is Subdued
My pokemon are definantly beginning to notice the storm, and their moods are very dark and gloomy. We have begun our travel back to Pewter, with or without Strider, as I do not want to camp out in the forest on low supplies. Hopefully, Tanael can blast us a path through the snow if it starts before we get to the pokemon center.

The quest, day 12

A Prelude to Inferno
Before I made it out of the forest, I met Darcy again. She too was on her way to Pewter, but she didn't want her gym battle to be her first, and chalenged me to a battle...I'm going to test out Tanael, but her Pidgey, Thar, looks very strong...

To Awake in the Eye
Thar and Tanael's battle was rudely interrupted by the start of the snow, so we had to call it off and dash to the pewter pokemon center. By the time we got out of the forest and down the slope, the snow was up to mid thigh, and it didn't look like it would abate anytime soon...We must make the center, or we'll freeze out here.

Nosy Nozomu?
After a stop at the local supermarket to pick up supplies, I made it to the Pewter pokemon center and immediately set to feeding my crew. While eating, a little vulpix walked right up to us and just sat there as if begging for food...I gladly fed him, and soon his trainer came over. It looks like I'll have company for this little camp out, which suits me fine...Her name is Kailey Koreco. She's psychic, which is slightly scary, but I find it cool...Darcy soon came along too, so we have a happy little trio here eating and chatting. Darcy has acquired a slowpoke from the poaching incedent, it seems very shy around people...And she also had an egg, which hatched. It seems eggs are standard for trainers these days...

The quest, day 13

The Bitter Cold of Choice
Well...It turns out Kailey's not fond of crowds, so along with Darcy, we decided to camp outside...It'll be good for her, but I'm not sure about the conditions and the temperature...We may not be able to stay outside long, if the temperature decides to snap. In that case, we might end up having to return to the center or risk freezing to death...I requested that each of them get an electric blanket as a precaution, but I don't know if that will be enough.

The quest, day 14

In the Hands of a Madman...
I found a new way to get through the snow...If I hold a lighter up, and hit the release on one of my propane tanks, it creates a wonderful snow-killing blowtorch...But unfortunately, it's short lived. Oh well, I managed to climb to the top of the snow, and ran straight into a lightpole face first. I must learn to avoid these things...

The quest, day 15

Pancakes!
Yes...I woke up bright and early, and decided I'd make some pancakes for a nice breakfast. Good stuff, I made a good foot and a half stack to be shared with the pokemon, Darcy and Kailey, if she ever shows up. Very nice, refreshing breakfast...I think after this, we can go out searching for pokemon again, since camp won't be moving for a while.

The quest, day 16

Rapida!
I encountered a wild ponyta while walking in the forest...They seem to be getting more common in Viridian forest these days. It fought hard against Tanael, but we managed to exhaust it enough to capture it. I named her Rapida, which I think is a very apt name. She is already proving a hard worker, as she can carry my camp gear with ease.

The quest, day 17

Strider
I met Jessie again while I was in the woods, and we're travelling together now. We seem to have taken a wrong turn on the forest path, and we ended up at a small stream, where we found some other pokemon. We quickly discovered that they belonged to a girl, but we didn't catch her name.

The quest, day 18

Nothing at all...
That`s exactly it. I`m out of food supplies, so I have to leave my friends and return to Pewter City to resupply. I really did lose alot when my campsite was destroyed. I need to replace my oven, my tent, all my food, my pot, and various other small things. I even lost a few of my maps, which tempts me to buy a GPS instead...It might be handier, but it will probably add a good amount of weight to my belongings. I will have to see what I will do once I return to Pewter. Until then, it`s a long walk.

The quest, day 19

To be bugged while thinking...
While on the path back to Pewter, I was ambushed by a Caterpie...I decided to battle it with Tanael, hoping to knock it down quickly with fire attacks. However, the little bug did a pretty good number on Tanael himself, hitting him in the face with string then tackling like 5 times...But, we prevailed. In a little burst of mercy, I applied some potion to the little caterpie before I continued on my path down to Pewter City.

The quest, day 20

Celebrating such visions of civilization
After a long spell in the forest, in which all my supplies were ruined by Rapida rampaging around, we finally made it back to Pewter City. The first thing I did was head out and replenish my supplies (I needed a new stove), as well as fix some food...Still waiting for my pokemon to finish getting checked up, I have no idea why it's taking so long.

The quest, day 21

Accursed Afflictions!
It seems that Rhun is suffering the remnants of poison from the weedle attack we got so long ago...I will have to keep a closer eye on him. I don't know yet how this will affect his performance, but I feel that it doesn't bode well for us. Now I debate whether we should go over towards Route 3 and Mt. Moon to train up for Brock, as it may offer tougher opponents, but I again wonder whether my pokemon are up for it. Maybe I'll let chance decide...
