Why is the manga longer than the anime dvd


Because the people who made the anime were to lazy to go past the fifth or so manga when they made it. U.U
i herad that if they get 100 paper cranes, r thinking about makeing more dvds to finsh the series off, i read it in my friends anime magazine...i am so exicted blaugh !!! i am trying to make one but so far i have't been getting very far sweatdrop

No it was just another petition. They've already done it and ironically at the time they reached the target Takaya and the director announced they were not going to and nor wanted to do another series because of the flaws, the work it would take to get a new plot for it and out of respect for the deceased singer for the opening and closing themes.

How Long is the manga?
The manga is 22 volumes long. Right now we're just starting the final volume in Hana to Yume.
