Life sighed at her sister. They were both incredibly weak and one of them was bound to die soon, all it would take was one clash of weapons. "You always did take too long in everything." Life muttered. She knew Death would attack her soon. One of them was going to die.
She watched her sister move to attack her blade and moved quickly behind Death. "Allow me to speed you up a bit." She said simply and instead of Death smashing her sword she brought her own down on Deaths. There was a shadering sound and Deaths scythe was gone. Her own sword was too close to breaking. "Goodbye my sister." She said simply.

((it's anticlimactic at best))
Death was surprised to say the least. ''cruel..." death uttered once her scythe was shattered. the contact with life's sword shattered death's scythe, thus shattering her soul. death's body lighted with jagged red lights, the marks of her breaking scythe appearing upon her. her body exploded in raining red light and snowed black ash to the ground. where death's ashes fell the grass died, charring and burning away to bare, dead ground. the shards of the broken weapon scattered to their target; Life.
they imbedded themselves deep within her body, targeting every inch of her. they spilt no blood and scarred no flesh upon their impact, only left their mark upon life's soul. the sword held within her hand mended and thinned, forming a new scythe. it looked the same as the last, however the blade was diamond instead of glass or metal. she now held the roll of both life and death, in taking her sister's essance.

Life shuddered in her new role as boh life and death. She then looked at Hikaru and Mak. "Treat that child well, she will be...interesting to deal with." She said simply then moved over to the place where Fenris and Loki had died. She smiled at the spot. "Death in love is an interesting thing." She said softly as two white orbs appeared in her hands. "And to think yo spent so much time plotting what you would do to hell wen you got there Fenris, I wonder how you find heaven?" She said with a soft smile. "Oh well, have fun." She said as both orbs vanished.
((Hika!!! Go to the teachers lounge!!! I got questions.... And I need me character bio back...))

((you're unusually shallow in your posts lately, aly. it worries me neutral i wonder if this small and child-like ending is how chapter 6 is really going to finish...it seems out of place and pathetic to me... confused ))
((oh well. if anyone wants to add some last bit of play to further strip what very little remains this chapter's end's dignity go ahead...otherwise, it's over. hope you enjoyed yourselves.))

Hikaru nodded, it was over finaly over. Looking at the child in Mak's free arm he smiled, his heart alight as their battle was finaly over. He couldn't help but feel relieved and a over looming threat of the true end.
Weeks after the final battle, the family had come together for one final reunion before they would live their lives the way they wished it.
A bright sunny day in the spring was about, the Shindou manor alive with humans, and elementalist alike. In the family garden hundreds of chairs were set, guests seated and dressed for a wedding. A wedding that would forever send whispers to the heavens.
With in the mighty Manor the Elementals of power were about, Hikaru running about, giving orders to caters and wedding advisors. His students all dressed as they made last minute preperations. Mak groaning as the child of dreams spit up on him once again, giggling and clapping at the look on the light masters face. With a small grin Hikaru just chuckled, causing Mak to connect his hand to his other's head, a grin on his face as well.
Maku and Miku showed the guests to their seats, smiling as several familar faces appeared, including Siera, Jake and Kam. The brothers smiling as the day couldn't be more perfect, the long awaited event came as no surprise as they would finaly be happy, and able to live their lives they wanted. The year of fighting and hell was comming to an end, a happy ending to a said fairy tale.
High in the Manor's room, a bride looks down a soft smile upon her lips. "So many have come...so many I've never even met...." She murmured as a hand was put upon her shoulder. "Mother..." Xin said his voice soft as he smiled at her. "It's almost time...." The son smiled to his mother who only smiled back, a soft sigh as she looked to Maru, the young Shindou child would surely be her own in law soon enough but that was something she would look forward to. "You'll need this.." Maru said smiling as she handed the bride her vale.
Taking it with gloved hands she smiled and placed it on, taking a step back before takking a shuddering breath. She could kill monsters, fight her loved ones, come back from hell, destroy a near god, and save the world twice but wedding her loved one was something she could hardly stand. To her it seemed so personal that her family would see her into one, she thought having a child would be a close enough. She smiled nervously being sure to get Hikaru back for tricking her into her own silly wish.
Xin and Maru stood back admirring Rin's beauty and grace, the blue dress comming to the the ground, a snowflake pendant upon her chest, stiched emblems of snow along her gloves, the dress it self simple yet elegant as the faberic seemed to shine even in the dull light, she seemed to be glowing. The vale completed it however, the long trailed seemed to be like snow in her wake, only completing the ice mistress more. All together the dress gave the image of a snow angel, her vale like her halo.
"What is it?" Rin asked looking at the two, her out stomach full of butterflies at their gazes of awe. "Nothing...you look perfect mother." Her son replied, offering his arm to Maru, his other to his mother. Both women took it with pleasure, as he lead them down to grand hall.
"Where are they?!" Hikaru groaned, the wedding's start time but 5 minutes ago. "Calm down dad." Maru's voice came from the stairs as Rin let go of her son's arm. "go on." She said, smiling as Maru and Xin nodding smiling, taking their places out in the garden, Xin by his fathers.
Syaoran raised an eyebrow at his son, who glanced at him a smile on his face. "We'll finaly be together." he murmured to no one, but the words reached the fire masters ears a small smile appearing on his face, his son given the ability to make him smile as well.
Hikaru just starred in awe at his freind, companion and at one time teacher. "You look...." Rin just raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a smirk before smiling. "Don't say it...I know." Hikaru just smiled and grinned, "Thought you said you were gunna stop doing that." Rin just gave a soft giggle, "Old habbits die hard friend." Hikaru nodded, offering his arm to the bride, taking it they headed into the gardens.
Music playing, Maru came down the isle first, sprinkling blue rose petals about the long white carpet. Next came Hikaru and Rin, the brides dress takking the guests breath away as Hikaru lead Rin to the alter. All eyes on the ice mistress, including her future husbands.
Upon reaching the alter, Jehudy smiled at both. Hikaru handing Rin over to Syaoran a soft smile on his face he looked at Syao the smile still there, but his eyes telling the fire master of warning. Should he harm her death would be the last of his worries, but Hikaru knew Syaoran wouldn't. After all wasn't dying twice enough to prove his love for her?
The two elementals of power gazed into each others eye's the entire time, Jehudy spoke the anceint vows of marriage. With the final words they met in a breath taking kiss, tears in mosts eyes they parted to hear a roar of celibration all around. It truley was the perfect ending...or begining as most would call it.
The night went on, the guest leaving, only to leave the elementals. Memories rising and laughs all around they enjoyed themselves. Wanting the have a speacil of their own Xin had taken Maru away once again vanishing with the young woman into the night.

Many years have passed and only peace followed...
"Is it ready?"
"Yes... Finally, we will wipe out those elemental wreaches and rebuild the utopia... This time better then before! FIRE THE MISSLE!"
"Yes, sir!"
The man pressed a large button on the control bored as hundreds of soldiers watched a missle rocket into the sky. The words "Element crasher." Written on the side of it, it was the nuke to end the elementals freedom and peace.
"Detination in 10."
The missle hurrled through the skies, the people down below saw a light shining through the skies thinking it was only a comet of some form... Their dreams, their hopes, everything they battled for...
"2... 1... 0!"
All lost in a few seconds.
The blast radius of the explosion wiped out the area in which the elementalists resided. But something strange happened, the blast radius began to grow, and grow... And grow! Something had gone horribly wrong.
"What's going on!? Why is it growing! Everyone evacuate were going to be h-"
The blast so fast and so powerful it covered the world in a matter of minutes, the nuke had obliterated every elementalist in the area, but when the element within them was about to be destroyed it only added to the nukes power increasing the devistation ten fold for every person killed.
The blast continued on for a few hours until the world slowly began to rebuild itself, slowly an ice age come upon and the world regrew... But not like before.
Due to the elemental radiation in the land, evolution leaped forward and began to recreat life to an extreme amount and new races were born, new animals in the world and the elements flourished once more. Only time will tell if history will repeat itself...
