Corytenn0314 i'd like to ask to start training for a specific position within the guild, slightly seperated from the basic, everyday knight or master. of course, i would have to train to this position MYSELF, but I feel i would be well suited to start training to become the guild's weaponsmaster. with that, i'd like to petition for a few skills(referring to a skill as a non-force ability, something we apparantly have none of as of right now.) those skills are the following: Improvised weapon Melee Combat weapon focus: short sword weapon focus: longsword weapon focus: blunt weapon focus: ranged Dual bladed combat Disarm craft weapon craft item of course, i would get the standard points you assign in each of these areas through training either by myself(teaching myself the skill with you assigning points) or by studying from somebody who can teach me the basics of these. my main idea here is to have more than just one way to fight within the guild. maybe somebody wants to duke it out in a fistfight, or maybe the lightsaber just isn't the weapon for you. maybe you'd rather bludgeon somebody's brains out with a club, or snipe them out with a good ol fassioned ranged weapon. the craft weapon skill would be one used to aid in creating a unique weapon for a youngling, if they had specific requests for their weapon beyond just the basic lightsaber, as well as raising the quality of the weapon made slowly. the craft item skill(only one that doesn't deal with weapons) is basically my gateway to tinker with new ideas for things to be used, as well as to create items to aid handicapped players. (sonar eyes for a blind man or a better robotic limb to replace a lost one.) any new invention within these skills would, of course, be approved by the council before implimented(or at least approved via PM by suki). thank you for listening to all of this. ::maugrim, one considered a youngling only by rank, would bow, not yet leaving the room. he would wait on suki to either grant his permission to begin training in all of these exess skills or laugh in his face. he didn't care how she reacted, long as it wasn't disrespectful. he had gotten his fill of disrespect and anger towards the higherups in their socieity recently:: (one ability added, disarm) I think that is a good idea. Not everyone is handy with a specific weapon, such as a lightsaber. If you want, you can PM me and we can talk more about the details.

But I would like to petition for Farseeing as my other needed power." Blaze asked as he bowed a bit to the Emperess. Farseeing is not granted at this time, because it is a power that requires alter skills. I will, however, train you in alter, so that you can be on your way to getting this power.

I think it is the first one on the list smile

now, to finish my training as a youngling(save two points in controll, which i will work on sometime soon) i would like to train in controll pain and combat sense.

As you know from my bio I come from a long line of Siths and this is a skill all have achieved early. It I must learn other skills first, then I will begin training." Since you are a Youngling, levitation is not a skill you begin with, though it is something that you can learn as a knight. I would gladly help you to start training, if you wish. Just post in the Obsidian Palace thread.

Master, may I suggest styles of combat? For example, different styles would give different bonuses to you lightsaber combat or force powers.

Lightsaber styles like the Shii-cho, which helps you against multiple enemies, or the Ataru form, a basic lightsaber satance, or the feared Vaapad form (from Mace Windu) which delves into the dark side for an aggresive and powerful attack pattern.
There are also many meditation stances which focus your force powers.
(the bonuses could be more effective the higher your rank is. eg-Younglings use Force meditation and get a +5 in alter or control, whereas a master would get a +20)

Empress I'd like to add a new Dark Side power to the list, a power that only the Sith Council will be strong enough to create: A Thought Bomb.

Now that I think about it there are some other powers I'd like to add: Torture by Chagrin, Spear of Midnight Black,(here are some abilities only the Sith Council can use) Sith magic, Alchemy, Midichlorian Manipulation, Mechu-deru, (This next power should be reserved only for you, Empress) Force Travel, (This power is very rare to come by, it is a gift from the Force, and its another reserved for only you, Empress) Force Resuscitation, (Here is another that was developed by Darth Vectivus which only you shall command, Empress) Force Phantom, (A power reserved for the Council) Drain Knowledge, (A rare gift allowed only for the Empress) Force Destruction, (Here is a power used for healing or to hide yourself, should only be allowed for the Council) Art of the Small, (A power that anyone can learn, but very dangerous) Force Meld, (I am unsure if you will find this one of any use but if you do its a power only the Council can learn) Force Weapon, (Another restricted to either you or the Council) Phase, (A power that's very rare and much harder to learn, a power known among the Miraluka's. I don't know if it should be a power anyone can learn, through a great amount of training, or be restricted to you or the Council) Force Seeing, Force Concealment. I could go on but... I've said enough already. Oh and one last thing, Empress. When there is no () before a power it means its a ability anyone can learn.

Midnight_Apocolypse Vaapad form (from Mace Windu) which delves into the dark side for an aggresive and powerful attack pattern. Yeah your thinking wrong, Juyo is the the form Windu based his style, Vaapad, off of. It is a chaotic fighting style and very dangerous to the user and the opponent. It, however, does not delve into the Dark Side of the Force. There is a Force power Windu uses, called Battlemind, that increases one's morale and fighting spirit. He used this in combat while using Vaapad. He had a very strong resistence to the Dark Side, by channeling his anger into his attacks he used it to serve the light.
