last night was amazing! the all-american rejects were yet again amazing, they have yet to disapoint, of course it's only my 2nd time seeing them.. but honestly don't think i will ever get tired of seeing them live..

first band to come out was gym class hereos, i didn't like them going in, because they are more of a rap band then anything.. with some rock sound to the mix, but they are awesome live.. he was really into it, funny, and he just knew out to work the crowd.. when they first started, this guy came out in the costume.. and it was ridiculously funny, it was like a really fat guy, his tummy showed, he was kinda dressed like a rapper.. i took a picture of it, but not to sure how it turned out.. i hope it came out good, cause that costume was hilarious and yet creapy at the same time.. they sang a song about myspace, it's called "new friend request", maria was like that song should be your theme song.. cause at the moment i'm a bit addicted to the site.. i'm not into rap, but i was digging these guys.. they are one of those bands that are really great live, maybe better live then on there album.. so i haven't decided yet, but i just may get there album after all.. then my music selection will have a hint of rap..

next was the format, i've heard of them before, but never heard anything by them.. i am loving them as well, i love it they are one of those bands that are not to good to help put there stuff on and off the stage.. of course they really aren't that big yet either, so that most likely has something to do with it.. most of the people around me were even asking so our those guys tuning up the instruments the band members? which we knew they were, but they weren't to sure.. i was loving the guitar guy, i must say i spent more time watching him then anyone else.. then again since i started playing guitar i always notice them more, and watch there hands alot.. i am amazed by how many things i recognize that they play.. chord wise and such, and on their solo's i am even recognizing the scales they play.. they were great, i really enjoyed them as well..

after the format was the startling line, i've liked them ever since there very first album.. of course i still haven't gotten there newest cd, and that is the majority of the songs they played, so i knew none of them.. really should have gotten it when it first came out, but that's okay.. they were better live, then what i thought they would be actually..

then the band i was all excited about, the all-american rejects.. once again they didn't disapoint, this is the 2nd time seeing them and again they blew me away.. i don't think i will ever get tired of seeing these guys live, they are just amazing! i would see them every night, and don't think i could get tired of them.. nick who happens to be the one that i am utterly in love with, have been since i saw them a year ago, would always come over to where i was.. and he knew i was taking a picture and he'd stand there and put on a little show for me.. so i've got a few great pictures of that boy working that guitar.. he loves that guitar, the way he acts with that guitar is just amazing really.. he would throw out his picks, which all bands tend to do that.. but this is the all-american rejects, i was close enough to ask for the stuff, so i was close enough to get it as well.. i was up against the baracaid, waiting in line for hours in the cold, wind, and rain to get against that baracaid.. three times i asked that boy for a pick, three times he threw one at me, each time i didn't get it.. once he threw one at me, and i was getting the security guys attention to give it to me.. i finally got it, but he goes and gives it to one of the other girls.. i was like freak it! but finally he tossed another one and buy golly Liz got her freakin' pick! it says the all-american rejects, and on the back it has his name as if he autographed it, of course it's not really him that signed it it's a stamp, but it was a pick the boy used to play his guitar and it's mine! Nick himself, used that pick, to strum his strings, and i own it! okay back to the show.. there was a point where tyson (lead singer) and nick left the stage.. then the monitors said please stand by, we are having some difficulties.. then you hear nick playing a guitar, and tyson singing.. it was "this straight jacket feeling" that they were playing.. we couldn't find them, but we heard them.. finally they put the spot light on them and we turned around and there they were in the back.. singing to the people in the back who weren't so close.. Mike (the other guitarist, tyson plays bass) and christ (the drummer) were still on the main stage playing their insturments getting into it.. they had some other guy playing bass, while tyson was in the back singing.. tyson sometime through out the show, asked how our football team was? and we all screamed, he said doing good? we all screamed again.. he said he's heard good things about that foodball team, and he said usually he mocks sports, but sing he's here and our team is doing awesome he wont mock, but support.. he said this was their first time ever in west virginia, and thanking us for waiting so long for them to come.. and said west virginia has been nothing, but good to them.. and how he likes it so far and stuff, then started singing another song.. he then was telling us a story, about how six years ago he knew he would be in a rock band called the all-american rejects, and he was walking down a path when he hit a fork one road was for rock 'n roll and the other was for west virginia.. he said he would flip a coin heads would be he'd take the road to rock 'n roll, and he flipped it and it was heads.. but then his feet started moving, and he said that he was told he would write a song that would be a great song he would be known for, after that it was up to him.. so he said as long as it's for rock 'n roll who cares.. and this is the song, and it was "swing, swing" love that song! and it is the song they are most known for off their first album.. after they sang what he said was there "last" song, he said what? i said that was the last song you want more? sorry bye, and they all walked off the stage.. of course they were coming back, they still haven't sang "move along" which is right now off there album the song that are big for.. and they did come back out, and they sang two more songs.. nick, he is just awesome! was drinking beer while on stage, he would switch from beer to a bottle of water when he was a bit parched from playing.. he was looking a bit happy up on stage, nothing better then being a bit happy while doing your thing.. all good, he's still awesome to me.. i could write more, but this is already getting a bit lengthy.. oh when they actually were done we went walking across the floor to see if we could find any of tyson's picks or mike's, but then tyson came back out.. and started throwing out the set lists, i almost got one, but some guy hit me in the head with a crutch, i was like dude what the hell? it's just a piece of paper! then the 2nd one he had, he wiped all over himself with his sweat of course it made most the girls go wild.. then he threw out some drum sticks, and of course didn't throw to the side just to the middle we were standing on the side while he was doing this.. after his last song, tyson even took off his shoes and threw them into the crowd..

of course i was standing outside for hours like i said before, like three hours in the cold, rain, and wind.. i was soaked, my shoes were soaked, my socks, everything.. my hair looked horrid, my make up was running, but it was okay cause it was worth it to see them again and get to get something nick touched! okay that bit sounded a bit obsessive, but i really love that band.. they are just amazing! i bought me a shirt, was gonna get another, but i really need to keep my money for christmas presants.. and wanted a tour shirt, but the only tour shirt they had was white, and i do well with white.. okay like i said before i could go on a lot more, but this is already getting lengthy.. if you want pictures, they will be on there way shortly, my camera is completely dead, so i am charging it, still not charged and it wont let me do a thing until it is.. even if you don't want pictures you are getting some anyway.. especially the awesome shots i got of nick!

Really...really...long post @_@ Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, some bands simply are better live than in their album...while some kill on the album, but fall flat on their face live...

~now considers listening to some All-American Rejects...~

yeah sorry about that, i don't know what got into me.. probably lots of grammar errors to, so sorry about that.. over at the gates board people are bothering me about that.. even though i stated a thousand times it seems that my grammar and sentence structures suck.. and they continue to ask me to fix them.. if i knew how i'd fix them while i was posting..

you should check them out, they really are a great band.. even my cop friend, that hangs out at the music center went, he took his two boys.. and he even told me, that those guys are a really great band.. and he said they are great live too.. i said yes i know this, my music is great..
