And what is it saying that such a large portion of my characters are some kind of rebel against the government, as well as the fact that most of the roleplays we create have to do with some new group (or multiple new groups) coming to power. In fact, it probably is all of them.

As for gentocracy, I think that it could work under certain circumstances. Chaotic brings up a good point about stopping history from repeating itself, but if we had that form of government, I think a good portion of the population would want some sort of agreement that the ruler is the oldest person capable of rational thought. Most of us wouldn't want a ruler who's senile.

I did say "most of us" for that last comment...

And what would you mean exactly by 'mundane'? Which forms of government would you consider the basic ones? I can think of Democracy and Communism off the top of my head, but as I mentioned before, I like the ideals, but don't believe that humans can carry them out in that fashion. If we are going solely based on the ideals, and we could make-believe that the government in question was a trustworthy one, then I would probably go for a Communist set-up.

Again, as far as ideals go, I would probably choose either a Democracy or a Republic. Many aspects of them are similar as it is.

Random thing that caught my attention--

Seeing that I am black? I just have this commune mindset any way. It's not a sterotype, it's culture- black people orginally just had this "I'm not gona leave you behind" sort of thing.

But my deal with communism is that it's easily corrupted. Who decides who gets what? Not everyone is pure in thought.
At least with capitalism you can make better for yourself or scratch out a living. With communism, REAL communism, everyone does an equal portion of work. Communism only works with the propper cultural mind set- China is a good example. They have there serious issues like we do?
While they can't protest without getting executed, we will let someone die because of health care. Our freedoms or our collective welfare- it's a trade off.
