I don't remember much of my earlier life. Too much of it was spent on fazes and crazes that faded all too quickly into the background; you see, I was a Gamer. I spent endless hours just playing games and letting them take over my life. I guess I was looking for somewhere where I was in charge. I place where I could do what I wanted and no one would challenge me. In this place I was the ultimate; I was immune to death.
The countless times I died were merely echoed by the countless times I was re-spawned. As long as I gamed I knew I was alive. It was mindless, but it had to be done; it seemed it was the only thing keeping me alive... or was it?
I guess I grew up and left the gaming world behind, got a job and continued to live without games. For some reason, though, games couldn't live without me ...

This is a world where gamers are coming back and beginning to take over the world again, and often those with real jobs are wishing they weren't here. In a world where everyone wants to be someone else, escapism has become a very popular ideal.
This is what companies like Japan's 'Sensation' have based their success on: reating games where people could just forget it all. In the last three months Sensation signed the biggest game designer in the World, the mysterious Hank Marks. It was his game that was going to make them millions.
However, -Generation- had a mind of its own.
As one of ten lucky people chosen to play -Generation- the story of the gaming world is only beginning.

Welcome to the world of GENERATION. GENERATION is a virtual gaming roleplay that has been run twice already. Both times it has died due to members not posting; as such we are looking for dedicated, long-term roleplayers who will not stop posting.
In GENERATION, you play a gamer who is lucky enough to have won a chance to play gaming company Sensation's newest game entirely for free. There are ten positions: Gunmaster, Elementalist, Necromancer, Extortionist, Runemaster, Assassin, Trathiest, Intruder, Optical Illusionist and Neuralgia. Some of these positions have already been taken by those who have played in the previous GENERATION rps, but most are open.
No one knows what kinds of surprises might be found in the world of GENERATION, not to mention the mystery bound up with its creator, Hank Marks.
