It's sad how many kids get turned away when they want to see this movie.

karomon xmkatx It's sad how many kids get turned away when they want to see this movie. Why? Isn't it PG? Well, I meant 6 and under. Granted, it's not easy to tell if a kid is 5 or 6 but lots of young children get turned away. Which of course leads to unbelievably belligerent parents....

Aw, that's sad! Why are little kids not allowed? Is there penguin sex or penguin-on-penguin violence?

Because we don't allow children under 6 into the theaters. Not even the lobby.
Well, we let them use the restrooms and stuff but no one under 6 sees a movie unless it's a screening.

That's a good idea that they should implement in Florida. it's annyoing when a baby is crying the middle of a movie.

Babies shouldn't be allowed in theaters. Regardless of the movie.
One of the theaters in New Jersey decided to show Shrek 2, which was a bad idea b/c that theater is also 6 and over so many kids got turned away.

Over here, some theaters have a Mom's Morning Out, which are morning screenings especially for parents with really young kids.

karomon Over here, some theaters have a Mom's Morning Out, which are morning screenings especially for parents with really young kids. that's a good compromise. I hate it over here cause it doesn't fail. Everytime I go to se movie this lady brings her newborn adn it's starts crying at the worse possible place. That happened in The Grudge like really at a bad time for me cause it kind of freaked me out. sweatdrop

jedi_master_tenku Well, Kamikaze girls came out on DVD last week. Watched it again this past weekend-- still hilarious. Well, that's just totally unrelated to penguins. Anyway, I intend on getting this movie [ March of the Penguins ] on DVD. It makes me sad and I want to see the making of doc.
