Dart-dono well see there will be the staring places were you fight the normal slow stupid zombies. later maybe more advance ones until you fight the monsters that can shoot you with acid from like 20 yards away ha ha ha but ya, maybe the zones can be characterized by infection level. RE has the Crimson-heads... and hunters... O.o

Dart-dono but see thats kinda what I want to move away from or at least try developing it in a different manner heh. what I'm thinking is have some development stuff *like an RTS type thing* combined with the normal zombie killing, for people who like that stuff *like me heh* If you have Half life 2 you can get a mod called Zombie Masters (multiplayer only) for free on the internet. Anyways, one person controls all of the zombies, he is an RTS player. While the rest of the players are FPS and they have to survive or complete objectives before they are all killed.

You can also have zombies that shoot acid while firing a gun or an extremely quick monster ambushing a party of survivors (House of the Dead?)

there already is a zombie mmorpg its called urbandead... its free its an o.k. game so any way what i would want in a zombie game
1.it to be realistic 2.able to make a fort out of buildings and such and be able to modify and baricade them like intall metal spikes around the outside wall and makeing peep holes to shoot out of 3.any desision you make effects the game play.... thats kinda self explanitory but like say you find a spray can and you spary paint humans inside on the outside of your fort more survivors come to your base 4.you get hungry and have to go outside to get food/water/supplies 5 yoU can loot buildings and PD's 6. be able to modifi cars if you find any like put metal cages on the windows or what ever and have to refuel them 7.have dif characters hav dif abillitys 8.your base cna be attacked at any time such as when your in it or out of it and if your base is really really secure it takes a very long time to bust it down 9. if its on a consule it would have to be at leadt four players that way two can stay with the survivors and guard and two can go get supplies 10. you get tired 11. if you get bit you turn into one of them eventiually but have to find a cure and if you do you can save them 12. be able to upgrade abilitys and modify weapons 13.it to be a sandbox game like .. big or expansive not just the mall like on dead rising
lol thats a lot but it would make one awesome game

I would like to have something, much like a semi-contained zombie infestation. For the sake of the game, just have it confined to a medium-to-large sized city. Some of the features would include:
-Improvised weapons: anything from a toilet cover to a tractor. -Skills system: a way not to enhance the character himself, unless say he/she works out, but instead have them find DYI books or learn by experience. Even driving. You can't have everyone with 1000 health and rocket launchers from the start. -A divided health: instead of saying they have 100 hit points, try giving them a certain amount of hit points for a certain part of their body. That way you could get injured like in real life. If bad enough you could become immobilized which would encourage a team system, as its always good to have backup than being a lone wolf. -Clothes: this could range anywhere from a flannel shirt & jeans to a Nomex Flightsuit, all with their own counters on how they can prevent damage to the body part it is covering. Like wearing ripstop gloves could prevent a zombie from biting off your hand. -Survial: instead of just having the person automatically go througout the city, why not have a requirement for food and water. If they get thirsty, they may begin to dehydrate, if hungry, they may starve and your ability to fight would be hindered. -Class Benefits: now i know you were already dabbling in this, but instead of just giving the people the chance to be a soldier, (which the vast majority will do, believe me.) why not have incentives to choose something else. Sure, the soldier can hit a target the size of a grapefruit at 100 paces easily, but since hes now all alone after a disatrous attempt to eradicate the zombies, all he has an excess of is ammo, and only his emergency ration packs. While the civilian can be counted on to have carried a few cans on him/her, while their survival is assured for a longer time, obviously they wont have that much in the way of weaponry, nor the experience to use it. -Restricted Areas: as the zombie infestation takes a turn for the worse, there will be a perimeter around the quarantined city. This is the boundary of the hell you have been imprisoned to. And with death squads all over the place, wether alive or undead, they wont take any chances and will kill anythign moving past them on sight. -Mob Mentality: the zombies don't just wander aimlessly hoping to catch a meal. They will begin to band together as they find one another, until the pack is either eradicated, or they grow larger. -Death: its inevitable even in a world without the undead, and since this is a game, you'll be given a second chance. However, when you are finally found and put back together, you dont have anything left. Your lucky to have underwear underneath your hospital gown. However, you can go back and find your gear, but so can anyone else. -Bartering system: there are still people around who have things others need, people who have not only thrived, but profited in this apocalypse. While money is still usable, so are other goods. You can trade with people, buy things, anything you need to stay alive one more day.
Now, im sure i'll think of something else later, but im running short on time, so if i come back later, you've been warned.
