I've always been interested in astrology. And how vague it is, yet reels people in. People base their lives on reading those stupid things every week, I think the weekly things are bullshit unless you go to China or something, but I'd never pay attention anyway. If I was to believe one more then the other I'd believe the Chinese, no offence, but they're so much better at this kind of stuff than the Europeans, and it's much less vague. Since this will be like a wall I'm making more than one post. After you read my "life characteristics" compare them to your own and see just how many synonyms are used.

I'm a Capricorn Ascendant Aries. Which according to Wikipedia means (Capricorn): Capricorn is the tenth sign of the Zodiac and associated with hard work and business affairs. Individuals born under this sign are thought to have an ambitious, modest, patient (I have to laugh, I'm really impatient most of the time), tolerant, polite, responsible, stable, trustworthy (can totally agree with that), powerful, intellectual wink , perspicacious and persistent character. The Capricorn person is prudent, realistic, formal, methodical, disciplined, traditional, cautious (wtf maybe when I'm 80), conventional, hard-working (LMFAO I'm so lazy but yes I can work hard at things I like till my attention span runs out), persevering, self-reliant, businesslike, career-oriented, authoritative, conscientious, and competent. They can also sometimes be rigid, suspicious, status-seeking, demanding, insensitive (I'm very blunt, but I'm also really a crybaby when it comes to sad films haha), inhibited and saturnine, and be prone to coldness, conservatism (BS), materialism (I'm so against consumerism I have to laugh, I do like stuff though, but I can go camping with only basic necessities any day), and dullness.
Capricorn is often depicted as having the lower half of a fish. This is due to Capricorn's antiquated classification as a Water sign (sea-goat), while modern astrology holds that Capricorn is indubitably an Earth sign.
In astrology Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn.
On another site the moon sign I am is Aries it says I'm: Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac. If this is your Moon Sign your personality is likely to be spontaneous and excitable. You are also militantly hostile in your expression of anger. You may be prone to periods of ire and irritation. You are very self-reliant. You want to have everything your way, and refuse to be pushed around by anyone. You are self-disciplined, and refuse to have others impose discipline on you. People either like you or hate you because of your impulsive behavior. You like taking charge, and will likely end up in a position of authority in your career. You are a natural leader. You set the pace and terms for yourself, and will choose your own vocation (regardless of advice from friends and relatives). The relationship between you and your parents may be difficult. There is a lack of both sympathy, and communication there. Your actions are considered to be impulsive and unexpected by others who are watching you. The Moon in Aries is a good sign if you enjoy original plans, adventures, independence and military life. You may be attracted to the study of the occult, or mysticism. You like to keep secrets, and that drives some of your friends crazy.
LULZ Idk what's going on but I'm getting confused with all this info now, it's kind of true, but slightly exaggerated, though the first part is extremely true.
BLAH BLAH BLAH
Earth Snake (I couldn't find the month thinger on google and couldnt find any specific Elemental and Year descriptions so it's just the year one so I'll leave it at that) According to Wikipedia means: The person born in the year of snake is the wisest and most enchanting of all. He or she can become an Ambassador, a Mediator, a restaurant owner or a talented musician. Such a person is a thinker who also likes to live well; affluence. The snake-person loves books, music, clothes, fine food and wine; but with all their fondness for the finer things in life, their innate grace and elegance gives them a dislike for frivolities, small minds and foolish talk.
Snake-persons like communicating and like interesting and challenging conversations; if the conversation becomes repetitive their attention may soon wander. It is almost impossible to fix their attention for long talking about mundane everyday habits as they prefer to focus on new, interesting and evolutionary ideas in general. The snake needs mental exercise in a conversation or relationship.
These people have a special talent that enables them to judge situations correctly. They are alert to new possibilities: when they have an idea of what to do and how to do it, they will pursue it persistently and energetically. The snake is at home in any social situation, able to adapt and converse on all levels. In Chinese astrology it is believed that they are self-confident, driven, focused and willing to listen to someone else's opinion, but don't necessarily take it 'on board'. Refusing to listen to constructive advice; intelligent and headstrong, they may be prone to getting into needless trouble.
Although it is difficult for such people to take advice, they are patient and compassionate with others when it comes to giving a helping hand, and their ability to look at a problem from a variety of angles is extremely useful. When faced with a dilemma, snake people, as a rule, act with speed and conviction, since they believe intensely in what they are doing and rarely waste time or energy on projects lacking in good potential.
The Snake is most compatible with the signs Dragon, Rooster, Rat, Sheep, Dog, Rabbit, and Ox. They tend to disagree with the Pig, Tiger, Horse & Monkey but as in all relationships, things need to be worked out.
Both of them sound like me, the Chinese seems to be more specific which I like and seems to sound more like me. But could I just be associating myself to something that's vague?
Kay so LULZ these are the professions I should be in according to the first site I link since I'm a snake:
The following occupations best suit the Snake personality.
TECHNOLOGIST ¤ PAINTER ¤ PHILOSOPHER ¤ SPIRITUAL LEADER ¤ SOCIOLOGIST ¤ MAGICIAN ¤ PSYCHOLOGIST ¤ MYSTIC ¤ JEWELER ¤ INVESTIGATOR
I fell over laughing at the magician thing since I hate a lot of kids and just like can't imagine myself as one of those kiddie magicians or even a proper one.
Oh and here's a list of the dead people who are Snakes too. Most of them are political figures who died young which slightly worries me... The politics thing not the dying young thing:
Famous Snake People: Mao Tse-tong, Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Ferdinand Marcos, Abraham Lincoln, Lady Pamela Mountbatten, Martin Luther King, Grace Kelly, Jacqueline Kennedy, Edgar Allen Poe, Prime Minister Tony Blair, Bob Dylan, Darwin, Edgar Allen Poe, and John F. Kennedy.
LULZ HOORAY FOR DICTATORS!

LINKSThis is a pretty alright site, it's as ever vague but tells you professions you could find yourself as which I find a great laugh. This is another one specifically Chinese horoscopes which is good for telling you which element blady blady blah you are, but also like the other site tells you what famous dead people you are, only more. I don't encourage you to read all my crap, just compare it with your own opinions and zodiac whatever. It's for your entertainment and mine, and possibly for discussion.

LMFAO the capricorn thing really doesn't sound too much like me at all in some traits. Again different people whatever, but I think Western can just be knocked off the list cause it's so general it could be so many people.

I like astrology too. I don't whole-heartedly believe in it but I do agree with some parts of it and it's fun to see how much of it is true.
I know it's pretty vague but that's because no one's exactly the same. Even if the method works, you still wouldn't be exactly the way they described you- your past experiences also make up who you are and your birthday doesn't give away your past.
Sometimes if my description doesn't match, I try to look at the next closest sign. Because though I'm a Pisces, I'm born close to being an Aries. Oh yeah, woohoo for sheep!

Alright so Capricorn may not describe every one of your qualities. I'm going to go through and cross out the ones that don't apply to me (as I am some other astrological sign_

They can also sometimes be rigid, suspicious, status-seeking, demanding, insensitive inhibited and saturnine, and be prone to coldness, conservatism, materialism, and dullness.
However, when I look at my own astrilogical description, it definitly seems to fit my characteristics a lot better.

Meh...the zodiac is fun to play around with, just like wondering if aliens exist. But I wouldn't count on it...
As far as your future and personality go, I believe you are the only one who can truly know who you are.

The Capricorn person is prudent, realistic, formal, methodical(not really), disciplined, traditional (I like traditional things like courtesy and politeness but as far as me being traditional goes nu un), cautious, conventional, hard-working(not really) persevering (hmm idk), self-reliant, businesslike(only about like one thing), career-oriented, authoritative, conscientious (idk about that), and competent. They can also sometimes be rigid, suspicious(kinda I guess), status-seeking (everyone wants to be loved but I don't want popularity), demanding, insensitive, inhibited and saturnine(more cynical), and be prone to coldness, conservatism, materialism, and dullness.
