~The Halloween Tricks Cafe` and Inn is squished bewteen two falling-apart houses. Resting in an abandoned neighborhood, the only inhabitants live in the Cafe`. On a chilly Halloween night where you just want a place to warm your toes for a bit, you come in here and find yourself in a beautifully designed room. It's just one overly large room that is bigger than it should be, judging by the outside of the house. The dark, Maple, hardwood floor is covered with a dark red floor rug that reaches all the way to the corners. Several, overstuffed, dark orange love seats accompany an intricately designed brick fireplace where a never-ending fire is always roaring. The walls are the same materail of the hidden floor and, if looking closely, you can notice the abundance of fall leaves, crescant moons, ripe pumpkins, shiny apples, and tall Maple trees that give the wall an Auntumn forest feel. A simple coat rack sits majesticly near the large door that awaits your coats and hats. A rug spelling out "B-O-O-!", sits outside the doorway, faded away by years of stomping of feet. Exactly seven tables with two chairs at each, line the left side of the room. Gold tablecloths' edges drag against the floor and two black candles glow bravely in the sunset-ish light. A swinging, Pine door near the left hand corner of the sitting room leads to the kitchen. There, anything your little heart desired can be cooked up. On your direct right is a stand where the greeter will welcome you to the Inn, write your name down in an old leather book, and your desired room number or if your just visiting, along with the date. Behind the greeter is a set of spiraling stairs that leads to the rentable rooms where guests can stay as long as they like. There's just one string attached to this wonderful dreamland for the fall fanatic: You must hand over your very soul to King Jack; the forever ruler of Halloween.
You can only happen upon this house if you are a true wandering Trick-or-Treater or if you have a strong belief in the Halloween Spirit.~

Gaia Name: Twilight at Midnight
Name: Mother Holle (pronounced (mother) (holly). First name - Muryane (pronounced (mur-ree-annie).
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Species: An everliving, souless girl
Appearance: Mother Holle
Personality: Mother Holle loves to care for stray animals or children. Baking is one of her specailties, along with healing, reading, drawing, story telling, and acting. She'd rather be behind the scenes that the center of attention. Out of a nervous habit, she wraps multiple locks of raven hair around her pale, left, index finger and lets them loose, leaving them with an elegant curl. Muryane has a great sense of style that leaves others either following her path or whispering behind her back. She does not care if people gossip about her, for she has no sense of embarrasment. This is one feature that makes her an amazing actress and storyteller.
Biography: Mother Holle was a worshiper of Jack ages ago, and still is. Jack, in person, had shown her this house as a place of refuge for her from her abusive family. A kiss on her hand and he parted with the shadows of the night leaving her to explore the house and neighborhood by herself for the years to come. Her family had kicked her out and abused her, trying to convince her out of pain to join the Catholic faith. Muryane rejected it all those years, enduring the pain to stay faithful to her only God, and for that, Jack makes his own specail appearances to her and to her alone. Some say they are lovers, other say that Mother Holle is a big liar and that fibbing is one of her many talents. Which do you believe?

Gaia Name: lily564a Name: Dece (D-sss) Age: 17 Gender: Female Sexuality: None your damn buisness Species: Amphedra Appearance: The Amphedra are a very metallic species, though not know for their height, they come naturally equipped with sturdy metal fingernails, strong plate armor over their spine and neck, shiny metallic irises, and wire for hair. It is also believed that they have heavy metal bones and mercury for blood, the mercury thing is a total myth but so few people have ever seen an Amphedrine bone that it hasn't been confirmed ether way, and it would certainly explain their abnormal weight to body size ratio. Dece is tall for her kind but still short at 5 foot 1. she keeps her nails short but sharp, same with her blueish-white hair, except a long rat tail she keeps it about 3/4 an inch and sloped back at about thirty degrees. Her eyes match her hair but with more blue and her spinal armor is matte gray, minimal on her neck, appearing only along the collar bone area. Most of her body is adorned with a maze of highly reflective tattooed lines about an eighth of an inch wide, they don't go on the hands feet or head, stopping in three rings around the appendage at all locations. Dece dresses in denim pants with a strong leather belt and a heavy black T-shirt decorated with a grinning jack-o-lantern printed where the breast pocket would be and a wheeled triskelion in dark grey in across her back, so dark that its nigh invisible if the light doesn't hit it just right. Her armored work boots clank as she walks, as do the chains linking the pair of large cleavers holstered at her back to her belt, the chains are about ten feet in length and the excess length loops over a special hook built into ether leg of her jeans that will hold onto the chains through any manner of movement but will quickly release when she needs it. Personality: Dece can be as quite and unnoticeable as she can be the blood stained center of attention, but has a bit of trouble with the in between parts; Not to say she's bipolar, that would be a bad idea. Koori was ecstatic. She had finally turned five and could go trick-or-treating somewhat by herself. Racing around the house looking for her costume, she found her cat hat and a few bells. Her mother droned on about not staying out late, no talking to strangers and so on. When she finished Koori darted out the door and down the steps. She kept in mind to check in every hour. After visiting a few house's her candy bag was half-way full. She had overheard a few teenagers talking about Jack The Pumpkin King. Curiously she listened on then decided to go venturing for him.
After awhile she was lost and confused. Without meaning to, she came across a house squished between two others that where falling apart. Happy to find a house she knocked on the door. She was greeted by a lady who called herself Mother Holle. Koori was accepted into the inn and decided never to leave her dream come true.
Koori peered out a dirty window and let out a barely audible sigh. It had been eleven years since she stumbled across the house she came to love. Out of habit, she fixed her kitty hat and leaned back in her seat. She stared at the ceiling one last time before she walked to her dresser. Quickly, she changed into her little waitress outfit that consisted of her cat hat, a small black dress, and a purple apron. Thinking she heard Mother Holle, she stumbled down stairs while tieing the apron around her neck. She smiled as she walked in the kitchen.
"Morning Mother Holle. Is it a busy day today?" She had always hated the holidays and busy days. Cutsomers where either grouchy and demanding or they would never leave her alone. Once she had scarfed down her toast and eggs, she grabbed a notepad and pencil. Deftly, she maneuvered around the kitchen and out the door looking for guest who needed to be served.

A sigh had escaped Muryane's rose red lips as she spoke to the energetic girl. "No, not today, I'm afraid. What you can do, though, is to add some more of those fako decorations in the front yard. Maybe we can attract a trick-or-treater or two. You'll find them in a pile on the side of the house." Brushing the flour off her pale hands, for she was making her thirteenth pumpkin pie of the day, Mother Holle pointed to the dusty window that peered over the right side of the house. "You'll find it to be dirty and a bit cramped. But, you can fit in there easier than me." For some reason unknown, Muryane considered herself to be "heavy-set" when she was quite the contrary. She was one of the skinniest women her age for miles around. Her model-like body not only attracted trick-or-treaters as a "nice lady", but drew in the regular "stray" young man.

Hearing her, she backed up into the kitchen again just in time to see her pointing in a direction. She sighed and obeyed. Finding herself dirty she came out with a lot of decorations. Her arms where overloaded with them. Gracefully she walked over to the front of the house. She set a few mini pumpkins on the steps and looked around. Carefully she draped some spiderwebs alongside the house. Looking around she leaned a scarecrow against the front door. "I wonder what else might draw some attention..."
It took her a few minutes to figure out what was missing. "Aha!" She remembered what drew her to the house as a young girl. Looking around she found a black cat. He was always around somewhere and got used to being called coco.
"Coco!" she cooed and instantly the cat rubbed against her leg purring. "Hey coco, can you do me a favor and curl up on the stairs? If you do I just might sneek you out a piece of human food." The cat obeyed and jumped on the porch curling up.

[It is alright to post this here, yes?] Gaia Name: Xeshi
Name: Tuuli Boyd
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Unknown
Species: Half human, Half Elven
Appearance: Tuuli is often found in darker colors, navy blues, deep purples, etc-and mostly wears a pair of blue jeans or the occasional skirt.
Personality: Slightly secluded, cynical at times. Tuuli experiences rare joyous occasions-excluding the hours she is conversing with Henry, her pet mouse. Calm, and almost always has a dreamy look on her face, as though she is looking for something but can never find it.
Biography: Tuuli Boyd is somewhat of a strange girl, she's always been that way, especially in the eyes of her classmates. Tuuli was born in Finland, and moved to the States at the age of three. It was not hard for Tuuli to greet people try to make new friends, she had no social handicap. But but she preferred not to get wrapped up in what she so coldly puts it-"Utter nonsense". In Tuuli's eyes, that was what friendship was. Even if she was the kind of girl who struts up and down the halls with a skip in her step, Tuuli would not be ambushed by a sea of potential buddies. Her hobbies were odd- to say the least. For instance, it was not uncommon for Tuuli Boyd to be spotted chatting animatedly with a toad or some sort of household rodent-she found that they made better conversationalists than that of the human folk. However, it wasn't as though she could not be polite to others now and then-on the rare occasion that they spoke to her, that is. As a naturally sensible and quiet girl, Tuuli Boyd wasn't in the least bit interested in the parties and social gatherings that most of her classmates attended. They were said to raise one's moral and boost their spirit. Tuuli did not believe on single word. Despite the fact that she had not even bothered to converse with anyone else, or start a new friendship, Tuuli was never really bullied or picked on. Perhaps is was her soulless, dark eyes that drove those ideas away. It was not until high school, that Tuuli Boyd experienced her first batch of criticism. Apparently, her hairstyle was not very "in" at the time-whatever that meant- and was being jabbed at because of it. Shocked to find so many people yelling at her at once, Tuuli stood up, chair falling backwards in the process, and bolted out of the room frantically, her pointed elf ears showing themselves as she ran. Tuuli's mother, who knew of her condition, sent her away from the school to live on her own with her aunt, Melinda for just a few years. But three years passed, and there no sign of her mother. Heartbroken, Tuuli assumed the worst, and began to think that her mother had sent her here to get rid of the nag that was her daughter. Although Tuuli was already so very unnatural, she now found herself to be despising human contact even more than those past several years.

Gaia Name: wishfullthinker124
Name: Taylor Ariata
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexuality: straight
Species: Half-demon
Appearance: Half-demon form:
(Cept with small horns as well, and fangs) Normal form:
Personality: Sorta a b***h at times, but otherwise nice and caring.
Biography: She grew up in a small village, no one minded her being a demon because no one knew. She can control water and air with her mind, leading to her pulling quite a few tricks. On the night of the full moon she turns completely human. When she was little she had to disquise herself as a real human so no one would notice she was different, but on halloween she was able to truely be herself, leading her to love halloween even more. After a while her parents found it harder and harder to keep her true identity hidden, since the horns grew and her fangs became more noticeable. Then, one day, someone found out about her and her true self. Her parents fought for her defense, and they allowed her to stay with the village. But that didn't mean they'd acknowledge or make her feel welcome. They shunned her, and laughed at her whenever she wanted to talk or say anything, she was kicked out of society and developed a sharp and bitchy attitude. She left soon after her fifteenth birthday and found the Cafe.
