The Dark Fortress
The Dark Fortress is found in front of the Framkta mountains and inside the deadly desert. It is the head quarters for the dark army and the center of their communications and in tell. In said Fortress, there are 5 floors, a basement, and a cellar. On the grounds there are 9 towers surrounding the base, stables for the horses, an archery range, and a horse training arena. You will also find the gate and the weapons storage there.
The Lookout is on the fifth floor of the Dark Fortress. It occupies the tower. It is here where a mage is stationed to receive messages, to scry or to practice and use their magic. There is a small wooden door that leads outside to where a metal balcony winds around the tower. Many do not like this room because the door is frequently left open, leaving the air to circulate as it wills. There is one round table in the center of the room, papers scattered on it's surface, held down by multiple paper weights.
Scrolls and tapestries line the walls, telling of the history of the Dark Forces, speaking of legends and myths alike. Heroes are depicted on these woven stories, left there for contemplation by studied people. As each mage claims this space and then leaves it, more odds and ends are brought in, more bottles and boxes fill the wooden shelves. It is a patched together work of art, this room, even if it is sickeningly high.
