this was a big week for fonts, as New Moon released how the wording will appear in upcoming promos. Riveting, right? We were hoping for something a bit more sans serif, but whatevs.
Fontage aside, it's been a quiet couple of weeks when it comes to New Moon new castings, but we did read an interesting tidbit about AnnaLynne McCord, who was rumored to be up for the role of vampire bait Heidi. Apparently this isn't her first time in the Twilight casting ring.
"They wanted me to play Rosalie," she recalled. "I met with the producers when 'Twilight' was casting, the original. I was on 'n**/Tuck' at the time. And they were like, 'We'd love to have you in this little film we're doing called 'Twilight,' but the family only has small roles.' They were like, 'It shoots in Oregon, so you probably couldn't do it anyway.' And I was like, 'If it shot [in L.A.] that would be cool."
"Then this little film 'Twilight' blows up, crazy," she laughed, enjoying her seemingly predestined participation in the franchise. "So, I came back in for a [recent 'New Moon'] meeting and was like, 'Hey, remember me? I supported you way back when!' I'm like, 'Let's do this!'"
We wonder if she starts every morning by kicking herself.
As for Eddie Cullen, after spending a couple weeks in his native England, Robert Pattinson has been dazzling the streets of L.A. while killing time before he's set to present on the Oscars this Sunday, February 22. He's been spotted strolling on Rodeo Drive and pubbing it up at Coach & Horses. We wonder where Mr. Cullen will turn up next? Our bet is on The Sizzler. (Homeboy's gotta eat, right?) However, just because RPatz is reprising his role in New Moon doesn't mean fans can also expect an encore appearance on the film's soundtrack. Instead, he's content to let Paramore write the film's title track because, according to Ok! Magazine, he "really didn't want it to look like [he] was trying to cash in." Beauty and humility? This guy's seriously too good to be true.
In the long line of peeps clamoring to get in on the New Moon action comes a couple late entries: First up is The Jonas Brothers, who gave an interview to MTV.com and said, while they'd settle for being on the soundtrack, they'd be totally stoked for a cameo in the film.
"The movie was obviously a huge success, and if they asked us to be a part of [the sequel], that would be great," Nick Jonas said.
Um, don't hold your breath, Bros. Another person who shouldn't count their vampires before they hatch is noneother than Madonna. The Material Girl's long-time manager Guy Oseary is an executive producer of the Twilight sequels and, according to EW.com, Madge allegedly wants in, at least on the soundtrack. Picture it: Edward Cullen flys through the air while "Quicker than a ray of liiiiiiight..." warbles in the background. It's almost too perfect.
It's called sarcasm, people. Get into it.

I'd love to see the Jonas Brothers just stroll by while Bella is having one of her emotional breakdowns. It would be hilarious.
Or they could be those guys that hit on Bella at the bar when she's in Port Angeles with Jessica to see that morbid movie.
I love those guys. (Their music isn't that good, but I like them as people).
Oh, oh!
Then on the soundtrack, they can make a few changes to "Burning Up" and call it "Burning Out" and totally relate it back to Bella.
That would be awesome.

I really want to see this movie and i hope they do better on it then on twilight but if the jonas brothers are in that movie, even as extras, i will boycot it. disney needs to keep their grubby hands off of anything twilight beceasue if they don't they will mess it up!

I think I'll cry if this movie is as bad as Twilight because the whole time I'll be like: "OH COME ON! *starts cursing* I mean they had two chances to make this the S**T and it comes out like this!!!" Yeah.....I'd probably go awol like that sweatdrop

i'm seriously hating disney lately. just because they're this huge company don't mean that they have to stick their snobby noses in anything that does well. thats pry the only reason they're doing what they are, cause of twilight's popularity. it's so stupid. leave Disney out of it!
