The shells and pearls moved in the soft wind as they seemed with give a small chime like sound that rested around the lioness neck. Her blue eyes looked around as she walked around the great crater that held her pride. She looked to it thinking over her lover before looking away as she began to slightly pick up her steps in protecting her lands. Not only did she have to worry about her mate but her adopted children and then there was Teleza...the adult lion that had fallen in love with her little Kana.

She pushed the thought from her mind with a growl. She moved to the small watering hole that was beside a large dead tree. She leaned down to lap at the water before looking to the moonlight sky.

Bwana had heard something. Faintly clattering, the kind of noise that came from small shells. How he had known that was not entirely known, even to him. Perhaps one of his old attendants had liked to keep shells and he had heard the noise that way. The soft, almost musical chime as they clicked together lightly.

He moved along, not really sure why he was even trying to find the source of the noise. His bodyguard would be very angry that he had wandered off yet again. He was like a naughty cub who couldn't keep with his father. It didn't matter to him, though, since he was the king and could do whatever he wanted. Finally, after a good deal of walking, he found the noise-maker. No wonder it seemed to have moved from where he had first heard it- the shells were hanging around the neck of a female.

"Oh," he said softly, "I'm sorry. I thought I was looking for shells, not a pretty lady wearing them. Hope I'm not disturbing you."

Mizu turned around looking to the male tilting her head softly blinking a moment before looking to her necklace. "Oh...no its fine really." She said as she looked to the male curiously he wore a pelt around him and head a feather in his ear. How funny she thought as she moved a bit closer to him to look at the pendent on his chest. "My...now I'm not the only one that likes fancy things." She teased the male a little she didn't know why really just never liked males but she never truly hated them either not when they helped give female the gift of life.

Bwana looked down at the pendant on his chest, chuckling faintly. "I suppose I do like fancy things, I can't deny it. Of the two of us, though, I think yours is much nicer than mine. Do you live around here? Now that I've spent so much time looking for those shells I find myself quite lost." He chuckled mildly, taking a step back from her only to bow his head respectfully and offer her a proper introduction.

As he was raised to do.

"My name is Bwana. I apologize for not introducing myself soon. How very rude of me!"

"Its alright I don't mind." She said softly as she sat down as she watched him curiously he seemed to have such class to his mannerism. She then looked to the feather once more smiling a little. "I think we are both a bit distracted. I'm Mizu'nagare." She said with her own bow of the head.

"An yes just out in the plains is a crater." She said looking towards it. "I'm off duty at the moment taking in a little R and R."

"Ah, off duty," hummed Bwana, "so does that mean you're a member of a pride, then? That's quite exciting. I'm only just getting back to my pride. I hope yours is going better than mine!" Did that mean they lived near the crater? That was certainly an interesting place for a pride if he had ever heard one.

Though meeting other members of prides was always a little bit of a let down, really, since he couldn't know if it was okay to be extra friendly with them or not. He smiled all the same. Even if he couldn't re-live his childhood days as a scamp, he could enjoy the company of this female.

"Mizu is a lovely name, by the way."

She nodded softly loking to the sky. "Yes well its also a plague I dare say...my full name mean light blue but Mizu means water...I don't get along with it really." She said a bit confused on hos comfortable she was getting with the male but really it was nice to relax and that was what she was suppose to be doing.

"Yes I'm a raider actually but don't worry we have really done much raiding as of late." She said with a smirk and even a wink. She blinked after she did this before looking away what the hell was that?

"No? Well, I suppose I'll have to enjoy it for two then. But if you think you don't like your name, wait until you hear all of mine. It's actually Bwana’kindakindaki, a name I've never gotten along with. At least we have something in common, right?" He smiled thoughtfully at that, looking up at the sky as he remembered all the times he refused to call himself by his full name. It wasn't the meaning, though, that had him loathing of it; it was just too long.

Bwana watched her wink, smiling in an amused fashion, "A raider? Now that sounds like an adventure every day. What, exactly, does a raider go out and do? Invade other places? Steal things? I'm only making guesses, feel free to put me in my place if you must."

She laughed a little shaking her head. 'No you relaly have it spot on." She said with a smile giving him a nod. "I enjoy it though sometimes it takes me away from my adopted children." She said softly taking a deep breath as she looked back to the crater. "THey are getting so big." She siad softly as if a little upset they would soon leave her to grow up on their own. "But your right your name is intirely to long to keep saying." She chuckled a little.

"Adopted children? That must be nice. I don't have any children of my own quite yet," he sighed softly, looking away from her for a moment, "it must be nice to watch them grow up, I'm sure they'll go out into the world and make you proud of them." She didn't seem like a bad parent, as his had been. If she adopted children than she had to be a nice sort, right? Raising someone else's cubs was a very difficult task.

"I would like children of my own. Being a father seems almost as exciting as being king."

she looked to him blinking a moment. "A King...wow I didn't expect that from from your looks but now it makes sence." She said with a smile. "Mmm actually that is fitting." She said with a smile as she looked back to the male a moment. She had been looking for a while honestly a male to help her father cubs. She slowly laid out on the ground.

"Tell me Bwana...Your pride tell me more about it?" She said with a small smile.

"Oh really? Do I look not like a king to you?" he asked lightly, amused. No one seemed to think he was a king when they first met him! Clearly he was doing something wrong with the way he acted or spoke. There had to be more to being a king than he understood. They always knew his father was a king.

Must have missed that lesson.

"My pride? Well, it's lies on and under a cliff, in the midst of a deep forest. We believe in refined culture, trade, and proper manners, but we also vastly enjoy performances. theatre, art, all that kind of thing, you know? I want to make sure my pride is a place to laugh and enjoy all aspect of life, both proper and more down and dirty."

She smiled softly watching the man. "My I think my little one Kana would love to visit some time.' She said as she looked the male curiously a moment. "So Bwana does this pride of your have a queen?" She asked curiously even so her next question was more important.

"I would be happy to show her around myself if she does decide to visit, we welcome guests." He moved over to her, sitting himself not too far from where she was lying down. "No, this pride of mine does not have a queen at the moment. At least... not yet. There is a girl I wish to find from my childhood." He smiled faintly, raising a paw to scratch at his tummy. Yes, he had his plans.

She laughed softly shaking her head. "My my what if you can't finder her what then don't you want heir atleast if you can not find her? Something to fall back on perhaps."

She looked away from him a moment thinking planning before looking back to the female. "Even if you find the female you would still have children of you own even more so when you have children with her." She said smirking a little not much longer now maybe she could snare him into helping her even if she helped him in return.

Bwana smiled. "If I didn't know any better," he said lightly, "I would think you're trying to make a point that you're dodging around." He let his body relax next to hers, his smile amused. "Are you in need of some male help? Perhaps something only a male can help you with? Because, if you do need that kind of help, I think I should be able to assist you."

She smirked as she moved a bit closer to him. "Really? I can count on you then?" She said looking to her paws before looking back to the male. "I'm sure I can make it worth your while." She said as he tail flicked behind her. Yes she had done it snagged the male and a pretty one at that to help her.
