Training, training, training. Lenka did a lot of training, and as such, it was really starting to pay off. It seemed silly at first, using the jungle gym to improve her strength and balance, but…nobody would let an eleven year old in a real gym, not yet. She had her fencing lessons, sure…but that was only one type of training.
Through her many nights of doing the monkey bars and climbing over the monkey bars, and running up the little climbing wall, Lenka had grown in her endurance and in her patience. When she first started this ‘training’ ritual, she was able to do the whole ‘course’ about fifteen times before just growing bored and tired. And now, she was up almost triple that number. It was a good feeling.
It was growing late now, and Lenka grabbed her bag from under the sliding board and climbed up on top of the monkey bars, opening it. She had brought herself some little snacks that she had been saving for a few days, some twinkies and a few juice boxes.
She had done her training now, so, it was party time. Spring was coming, and she had completed the jungle gym forty times. That was something to celebrate, at least in her mind.

The park was surprisingly active at night. Sure, policemen occasionally swung around to check up to make sure nobody was out after hours, but the so-called "terrorists" of the city seemed to find it to be an easy place to meet and patrol. It wasn't just senshi, but the Negaverse, and the new strain of individuals from the Dark Mirror seemed to rather enjoy the park in the evenings.
Even cats didn't seem immune. However, cats didn't have to worry about the police pestering them about curfews, since they were just animals in the eyes of the law.
One such cat trotted along on the sidewalk, cutting through the park onto whatever her next task was, when she paused in place. It seemed as if a chibi senshi was nearby. Not being the sort to ignore the younger senshi, soon enough the bell-collar adorned creature was trotting towards the sand box and the jungle gym. Before she even had arrived, her collar made it pretty evident she was approaching. A ninja, ********* was not!

Lenka had half of a twinkie hanging from her mouth when the sound of ********* bell reached her ears. Now, she didn’t really sense anything, so she figured the best way to see what was coming towards her, (And the best way to hide in case it was like, a big dog or something,) would be to stand up on the bench, and that’s just what the child did, squinting into the dimly lit night trying to figure out where the jingling was coming from.
Finally, she spotted the small cat and a smile broke over her face. “Hewbe!” She sputtered, the cake like snack falling out of her mouth in her excitement.
Now she could show the cat just how hard she had been practicing, and not have to worry about any bad guys proving her wrong! This was perfect! Plus, now she’d have a chance to really talk to the cat, something she didn’t get to do at the Mardi Gras party.

A pair of ears perked up at what sounded like it could have been her name, though the annunciation was a bit off. It was completely permissible, if only because of what fell to the ground as a result.
Like piggy that had just sniffed out a truffle, the manx approached the fallen piece of twinkie. She could have just dug in, but instead, she sat her haunches down and looked up to the girl. ********* extended a paw to point at the fallen cake, then greeted the child.
"Hi Lenka... you going to finish that?"

Lenka jumped off of the bench, then sat back down on it. “Nope, you can go on and eat it, *********!” She wiped her mouth free of crumbs, then reached into her bag once more, this time pulling out a juice box and shoving the straw into the top, taking a sip.
“I have a lot more of them, so if you’re still hungry, just hop up here and I’ll open them for you! How have you been?” The chibi senshi scooted over some, allowing some room just in case the manx wanted to jump onto the bench as well. “I’m throwing myself a little party tonight ‘cause I’ve been training so hard and I got through my training course forty times tonight.”
That was just such a big number. Not even her mom was that old…in fact, she wasn’t sure she knew anyone that was forty! On that note, she didn’t think she knew anyone else that could do the jungle gym forty times either…she’d have to bring Ambrosia here someday and have her start training as well!

With the permission obtained, the cat easily proceed to wolfing down the somewhat used food. ********* wasn't fussy with food, and couldn't afford to be at times, since she was known to scrounge through trashcans for scraps.
Fortunately, Twinkies were small, so the feline's tiny bites into the cake seemed to make a dent a lot faster than usual. Once the mess on the ground had been inhaled by the manx, she hopped up onto the bench. She had permission, after all.
"I've been okay... still hungry..." her green eyes glanced to the bag in a less-than-subtle hint "...Nothing to exciting though." The edges of her ears seemed to straighten out as the child explained the purpose for her celebrations.
"...training course? Mind making it forty-one times and showing me what you mean?"

Lenka nodded happily, then drained the juice box of all the apple-y goodness inside of it, putting the crushed container back into her bag, then drawing out two more twinkies, opening them and placing them next to *********.
“I can go do it again, I’ll be right over there.” She pointed to the jungle gym, then stood, stretching and giving a small yawn. Now wasn’t the time to be tired! Now was the time to show ********* her awesome, killer moves. “Don’t forget to watch me, *********!” She called softly, before darting up the twisting slide and appearing on the other end a moment later. She moved to the four steps that led up to the first platform and jumped down all four at once, then took a few steps backwards, and jumped up all four at once. She ran across the bridge four times, then jumped right onto doing the monkey bars, getting to the other side, then pulling herself up, and making the walk over the monkey bars. When that was finished, she slid back down the slide, then walked back to *********, smiling.
“Ta da! I know it’s not much, but my arms have gotten a lot stronger, and I can balance on things better. Before I couldn’t walk across the monkey bars at all!”

Now was the perfect time to show off her amazing "multi-tasking" skills. The manx huddled herself between the two twinkies, pulling one towards her and chewing on it as her eyes watched the playground and the redhead rushing through a series of stunts. In all honesty, it looked like fun, something she herself wanted to try.
However, there were some complications, like the fact if she went into a form that was able to handle the tasks, that she'd attract pretty much a bunch of youma within a mile of the park.
No, it'd be better for ********* to remain on the bench, eating Twinkies and getting cream on her face from the filling. Speaking of, she managed to get some on her nose and was in the middle of licking it off when the girl returned to her.
"Don't underestimate your abilities, Lenka!" There was a pause to lick at her nose.
"I think that's..."
Lick.
"...an excellent exercise."
Lick. She had finally managed to clean that nose of hers off.
"However, one thing about getting good at something... is that you need to change things up to make sure you continually keep being good at other skills. It's one thing to balance on the monkey bars, but what about on a thin ledge? A little variety doesn't hurt every now and again."
Before digging into the second twinky, the guardian added "It looks like you are really doing an excellent job though!" And then her face went into the second twinky.
