User ImageSariya couldn't help but feel relieved now that the holidays were over. It was always a hard time of the year for her, she missed her family more than she could put into words. She couldn't help but feel like everything was on her shoulders anymore. She had always wanted to do her parents proud and to carry on her family's name, but things were too complicated now. They were gone and no matter how much she wished it, they'd never return.

She sighed, shaking her head slightly. Her fingers drifted over a picture of her parents. Both of them were smiling with their arms wrapped around their only daughter. They had always wanted more children, but time had never allowed it. A part of Sariya wished they had, so that she could at least have a sibling to share this hard time with, but at the same time, she probably wouldn't have been as close to them if they had. She couldn't help the feeling in the pit of her stomach, a want, a need, to share her life with someone. Hell knew that no one was willing to put up with her, she was a bottled mess after her parent's death and she could hardly blame anyone for not wanting to be with such a grump. Still.. she desperately wanted to share her parent's legacy with someone, she didn't want their memory to fade.

So, she knew what she had to do. She'd imbue a soulstone. It wasn't the smartest idea, especially being that she was trying to build a career, but she wanted someone to know her parents, she wanted a family, and if that was where she had to start, she'd do it.
