(another topic? why? cuz i'm bored... *shrugs* lol)
Nick wanders about among the streets of the town. The night is brisk with a light wind at his back. His jacket ruffles in the wind as he sits on a bench along the street across from a pub. He deeply breathes in the night air with his hands in his pockets taking a break for a moment as he converses with a student that passed by and soon later feeds on him before sending him off. Sighing out longly and boredly, he makes his way back home to his lifemate, being away from her just doesn't seem right to him.
He proudly gazes among the house, thinking of Sky with the child among her pregnancy, and even to the future, playing with his son or daughter. He walks through the gate to the household and replaces an enchantment safeguard among the entrance and perimeter of the property. Placing the strongest spells he knew to protect the ones he loved. He walks into the house and again locks the door with a safeguard to keep out haneous idiots that would dare cause harm to his mate or household. He unveils his presense at the household, in case his lifemate -hadn't- noticed. "Honey, I'm home"~ He grins, almost laughing at how nostalgic he sounds, comparing himself to the older family life back in the mid 1900's.

(lol it's cute though whee )
Sky chuckled, already aware he was home before he even got to the gate. Already her tummy started to show her pregnacy, though she was still in the first trimester. Stepping into view, she gave him kisses, wrapping her arms around him. "So where'd you disappear too?"
She wondered but didn't push as she snuggled in his arms before pulling him into the living room and sitting down by the fire, feeling it's warmth.

He smiled back and nuzzled her nose as they made their way to the fire, sitting down on a comfortable fur rug.
"Oh nowhere really, i just went out for a walk. Got a bite to eat" He chuckled with the pun, "...brought some back for you and the baby." He says gazing into her eyes as the fire reflects off of them.

She chuckled and shook her head at the pun before nuzzling his nose in return. The firelight danced teasingly in her eyes and she kissed him softly. "You didn't forget my strawberries did you?"

His face goes blank, shocked and now looking totally serious. He raises a brow. "Strawberries...?" o.O confused and kinda panicing, he motions to get up and go get her some if she so desired, but not wanting to let her think that he forgot something, ... as obvious as it looked. (lol) it's a matter of pride!

She smiled but tried hiding it behind her hand. "You forgot didn't you?" She sighed softly, mockingly disappointed.

He looks stunned, confused, and almost panicking at the same time. He didn't want to disappoint her, but also didn't want to let her see that he had forgotten, but c ouldn't think of a way to get himself out. "........ ... um..... ... s**t." he faceplants into the rug.

"okay!" He said sharply as he rushed up and ran out the front door, and swiftly changed into a mist and reforming in the shape of a cheetah, sprinting out to a shop that could possibly be open at this late hour... to buy strawberries (<.<)
He returns with just as much haste, his heart pounding, breath panting heavily, and a bag of strawberries dangling from his jaw still in his cat-like form he offers them to her.

She petted his furry head, scratching under his chin and kisses his nose. "Thank you. " She munched on a strawberry and offers him one.

"You're welcome." He stated and sniffs the strawberry decliningly. Shaking his head he rests his head down on her lap. He licks the palm of her hand and purrs.

<"Evil pettings!"> He proclaims as he rolls over and licks her under her chin. smiling at her with his cat-like figure he mists back over to his proper form.
He moves back behind her and holds her from the back. His hands clasp together at her waist and his head nods against her shoulder and kisses it lightly.

She snuggled in his arms, enjoying the feel of him making her feel safe. She still smiled as she nibled the strawberries..

He sighs in contemptment and rests his chin on her shoulder, he lowly speaks, "So... ... any ideas on names yet?" He smiles.
