((ooc - This is the forest that surrounds pretty much everything that we all often venture to. I hope you don't mind that I am making a forest thread and hope that you all will post here if you are going intot he forest at any time.))

(OOC - This is continued from private messages where Moonaria inquired something of Rei and didn't like the answer and took off towards the forest to think)
*Moonaria drifted down from Rei's bedroom window skirting into the wind as she headed towards the forest in her mist form. A shimmering flow of air that move against the fog that seemed to be blanketing the ground. The crickets were quiet this night, bringing to light an uneasy feel to the air. Dark clouds gathered naturally over head, and blotted out the full moon as they rolled on lazily by. So much was on Moonaria's mind as she felt like turning around and runing back to Rei's arms. However her anger and confusion held her in check as she came to a stop above a rocky treachorus cliff that over looks a smaller valley with in the forest. Casually she materializes and looks out aimlessly over all...Wondering why with a heavy heart....*

Rei moved to the window watching as his love floated away on the breeze. "My heart." he spoke to her having an urge just to go after her and lock her in his arms...but she needed her time and he knew not what to say to her. He was new at the whole lifemate thing but desperately wanted to please her.

*slowly Moonaria eases herself down, and sits upon the cliff's edge gazing out at the forest. Thinking heavily to herself, she gazed up at the moon...Admiring it's beauty as she ponders her troubling thoughts. The men of her people where to ensure the women's happiness yet they do not seem to understand what they put the women through every time they leave for a hunt or gone for too long. She understand they feel the pull of their souls...But the women has so much more to worry about outside of baring children....And that was knowing if their lifemates would be coming home. Because every time they walked out that door there was risk that they would never return. And in truth it eats at Moonaria through and through....*SNAP* The sound of twig snapped her out of her daze....Quietly she reached out with her senses without looking around and discovered no trace of evil...To threatening presences, yet there was someone there...Male....She turned her head and glanced over to see a young male human standing there with his hands pushed deep into his pockets.*
Man: I didn't mean to alarm you, I just saw you sitting here in the moon light and could not help see if you are ok...Not to mention what are you doing out here in the middle of the forrest?
Moonaria: I am....All right I guess....As for me being out here, I took a walk from a cabin I just moved into about a few miles away.
Man: Barefooted?
*He innoncently inquired, as he walked a little closer making sure not impose too much.*
Moonaria: I have a lot on my mind and didn't think to wear shoes...But I could ask you the same question. The woods in these parts are not safe at night.
Man: Some friends and I are camping not too far off, and they are asleep. I couldn't sleep and decided to take a walk myself when I found you.
Moonaria: How long have you been camping?
Man: We are all out here for the weekend....We had back to the states on Tuesday....
Moonaria: Interesting, what is your name?
Man: Oh excuse me, I am sorry...My name is Erik Davidson, and you are?
*The man inquired as he pulls his hand out of his pocket and extends his hand to her in greeting. Moonaria tensed at the thought of touching another man peroid but thought better thent o be rude....Carefully she extends her hand and shakes his.*
Moonaria: My name is Moonaria...
Erik: It is a pleasure to meet you Moonaria. What a beautiful name, it goes perfectly with your beautiful face.
Moonaria: Thank you, but I suggest you return to your camp Erik...It is not safe for you out here.
Erik: And it is you?
Moonaria: I know what lurks in these woods and I know how to avoid it.
Erik: I dunno about that you look pale, and are really cold to the touch...How about at least if anything you come back to the came and at least warm yourself by the fire.
Moonaria: I really shouldn't...
*Moonaria began, as slowly eased herself up to her feet before unintentionally running her hand sensually through her long dark hair. The sheer motion aroused the man....*
Moonaria: I will be all right...
Erik: I am may look like a city goer, but I do know how to handle myself.
*Moonaria could not help but chuckle as she looked away smiling.*
Moonaria: What is it with men and trying to show off?
Erik: I guess it is in the genes.
Moonaria: It must be....
*She sighed, as she turned to look into his eyes.*

Rei's stomach clenched, he still was connected to his lifemate, he felt the presense of the man and with her mind knew that she was with him. It struck almost like a dagger to his heart. The beast in him raged to tear the man to peices, he had no idea how dangerous he could be.
In a moment he was watching him buried deep within the form of an owl keeping himself completely hidden so no one of any race could sense him, his eyes locked on the man next to his mate.

*The man grew uneasy, and took up Moonaria's arm instinctively. The contact made her stomach roll in protest, but she remained cool.*
Erik: I think you had better come with me. I am getting the heebee jeebees out here. I get the impression someone is watching us...Or something.
*Instintively Moonaria reached out and looked around, but shook her head before looking back towards back towards Erik.*
Moonaria: But there is nothing out there...
Erik: Please at least for my sake allow me to walk you home or come with me back to the camp.
Moonaria: I will see you to your encampment, but I can not stay.
*The two of them began to walk back into the forest heading towards his encampment that he shares with his friends.*

Rei's blood surged in anger although he kept himself hidden from them he was a danger. That man was touching his mate and if he did not watch it it would bring him his death. Rei's body even in the form of the owl, deeply embedded as he was, urged to kill the man.
The rage was kept hidden under it all, he flew along in the body of the owl his eyes watching, waiting, searching.

*The two of them walked for what seemed like miles, when Moonaria reached out to see where Rei was on by habit. A need to feel him but instantly caught herself and continued to walk with the man when they both saw the glow of the camp fire not too far off. Someone was tending to it. Instinctively Moonaria stopped causing the young to turn and look at her.*
Erik: What is wrong?
Moonaria: I can't go any further.
Erik: Why not? They won't bite.
*Moonaria could not help but chuckle and her laughter sounded like silvery bells upon his ears causing him to become even more aroused by her. Stepping uncomfortably close, moonaria could feel his warm breath on her. Reaching up she pushed him away and began to turn and leave when he grabbed a hold of her arm.*
Erik: Come on don't go just yet.
Moonaria: Erik, let go....For your own sake let go....

Rei transformed to human form still keeping himself consealed, fangs burst forth as his eyes went red. The man had dared laid a hand on her, yet she was still trying to defend him. He waited, motionless, staring and just waiting to spring like a jungle cat.
His hands folded into fists at his side, he was too close to his mate another man was touching her, he would die just as soon as he did what Rei knew he would try.

*The man pulls Moonaria close, and would be crushing her if she were human. He drew her intimately closer to her. Moonaria looked away, as he leaned in to kiss her. Her stomach hieved in retailiation of such act. Quickly she brings her hands up and tries to free herself.*
Moonaria: Erik stop.....I only told you I would walk you home, I am not that kinda of girl.
Erik: And just what kind of girl are you...
Moonaria: Erik please stop....

Rei let out a growl and in seconds appeared behind the man renching him back from his mate.
"I belive she said she was not that kind of girl...nor does she seem to care much for your advances" his voice was rather calm and gentle very civilized although the inside of him was ready to kill the man. Rei looked at him, waiting for the question.

*The young man's eyes fly wide open as he stumbles back and looks from the man back to moonaria and then back towards him.*
Erik: Wh...Who, what.....Who the hell are you? And I wasn't going to hurt her...Tell him Moonaria.
Moonaria: Erik I asked you to let me go, I told you I shouldn't have come....
*She remarked as she slinked back behind Rei, peering around him out at Erik.*
Erik: Oh come on Moon, who is this?
Moonaria: This is Rei....Rei is my husband.
Erik: YOUR HUSBAND!

Rei's eyes glowed a soft red in the light if it hit him right, he stared at him the glare in which held promise of death.
"I am her husband and I do believe she asked you to let her go. I believe you own her an appolgy, do you not?" he asked his predators gaze never blinking as he started at Erik.
