Well. I'm ambitious. So, I've decided to go ahead and host a contest for a new, SPIFFY banner for our guild to go on the main page (and maybe your sigs? *nudgenudgewinkwink*)

I've been chilling in the Captains Guild. I hear one of the best ways to boost activity and get new members is to host a contest.

SO, kiddies. Whip out your creative brains and make a banner for this guild that reflects our environment. Feel free to ad your own art or just really awesome graphic work. The winner will receive an July 2006 letter, and my enternal love.

PLEASE ask your friends to join if they love literate Roleplay. It's pretty much my dream to have tons of users on many different threads. I feel we are all glomping onto the active threads. Don't be afraid to start new threads or advertise in the main forum for RP partners. smile

The contest will last until AUGUST 6th (exactly a month away). PLEASE PM all entries to the Windsor Academy mule. Cherry peel and the Vice Captain Akina Tokuwa will choose the winner, and we may even have some small monetary awards for second or third place!

Because of my rather massive loss of gold, I'm going to have to change the prize to a July 2006 letter. It has the elegant veil or katana. So sorry for the inconvenience guys!

Make up a crest....

I can draw. But I can't do anything with graphics, I'll draw something nice and color it. Thats good right?

I think it'd look good in 3d, right now I'm making it....I think it would look better in 3d.....

You guys have a month! Calm yourselves children! Hehe. Seriously though.. invite friends.. I want our little RP to fluorish like crazy. smile Uhm.. in terms of the crest, I would look at the crest of the Windsor family of Wales. that's kinda where I got all my random historical references from. Like a cool kid.

but it could just be an interpretation of some of the character. It's just an image I want to include on the Guild home page that's more evocative of the spirit of our group and maybe use as a banner in my sig. heart

Okay, so I've looked at several windsor crests...

Probably not one was from the royal windsor family eek

And I decided that I didn't like them.

So, I made my own little random design...

Twelve pointed star, involving six triangles, and a nifty oddly symmetrical/assymetrical look.

Take a gander, tell me what yah think.

Oh, yeah, I'd put this on a shield or something.

The entire coat of arms deal.

Does the academy have school colors?
