I think people are stressed because school is starting..

We should all be working on our homework and bonding before another class starts.

BTW, Jedrek WILL respond to you, I'm just overwrought at the moment. Had a meeting at work, lopped off 8 inches of hair, and then played WoW for a while tonight.. now, I need to sleep as I have work tomorrow and a dye-job planned at 2.

Oh, and take your time. Better to take it slow and do the best you can than to rush things too fast. I just wanted to know where everyone disappeared to... smile

I’m here, sorta.

Basically, a day or two after I got home from vacation, band camp started up, which will end the day before school starts. Then I become a freshman on the 30th.

So since you all have to deal with my normal poor excuse for literacy, I did not wish to subject ya’ll to my poor literacy on band camp.

I'm sort of here. I just moved into college, and my classes start tomorrow so I am just moving sloooooow.

"Jaycee" has gone though a bit of change in his life. Dice were cast, numbers landed, and priorities sorted accordingly. I can honestly say it's been a lot more than just college keeping me away. However, I'll just leave my reasons as "familial and social obligations".

However, in the course of these things... I kinda found some things really important to me. Certain people, certain things I needed to do, the entire "have a future" deal, and I could go on... But in thinking about Gaia, I got in a bit of a quandry. I have no happy feelings for this site, being banned twice, really... annoyed me. The lack of moderator support on the issue was also bothersome. Which left the people, and the ideas I participated in.

Some of the ideas, were wonderful. They had directions, possiblities, and were immensly fun to read and play in. Some of the people were funny, smart, and just plain cool. Unfortunately, many of those things have changed. Some of those people have left, and some are very absent. Some of those ideas have gone places that are dull, and have few possibilities.

I hate the kind of posts that are "Goodbye world, it was fun, but...." so, I won't write one. I also dislike people who complain too much, so I'll try to keep it to a minimal. Now that I've partially managed life, I can, and will come back. I may not stay, depending on what I'm coming back to. Let me explain

Windsor isn't the guild I joined. Perhaps it's better, perhaps it's worse, but I definitely see less literacy than the initial crew. It also migh be less innovation. Maybe it's my close-mindedness, but pirates and demons (demons especially) belong to other roleplays, and are a just a wee bit cliche. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with either, but... it doesn't seem to belong in the world that exists at Windsor. Like I said, it could just be my perceptions, but that doesn't mean I have to stay with the guild.

Sorry if that's kinda discouraging, and even a bit off topic, but I needed to say it. The reason I even bothered to log into Gaia again though, was this guild. The same people are still awesome, and the same ideas still have potential. Maybe the new faces do too, and the fresh ideas are even better than the old ones. So, I'm done with my little epistle, and back for some roleplaying. Or, in the not so eloquent words of a good friend
"I'M HERE! PARTY TIME!!"
