If you think you love someone, you are wrong. There are three words in life that revolves around love; devotion, promise, relationship. To me, devotion means staying commited to your spouse. To me, promise means words sworned to another and not going back on it, meaning not breaking your sworn words. To me, relationship means the process in which two people get together in a bond because they either like or love each other. All three words work together as one; a relationship requires the people to be devoted and promise each other not to do things the other dislikes. But, now comes my true reason for making this journal entry. Those words exist in our minds. Our world doesn't know devotion, promise, nor relationship. No one can be devoted to someone, no one can keep their promises, and without knowing the previous two words, you cannot have a relationship. If you really are devoted, and truly promised your spouse, then you wouldn't be looking at other men or women. If you were devoted, you'd stick to only looking at your spouse. If you are confused when I say "looking," I mean checking out. You promise your spouse you wouldn't think of other men or women, yet you do. NO ONE can have a relationship. Everyone checks out others, other than their spouse. Yes, it is true it's a normal and uncontrolable attribute to us humans, but because of it, no one can have a REAL relationship. I am not saying I can, because I cannot. I am human just as you are. Reality has taught me this, and I thank it for teaching me this. I am not saying you should listen to me, I am just explaining to you all the three words that revolve around love. I hope you understand what was intended in this journal entry.
