Poésie de la Vie
Filled with my daily poems, and/or complaints about parents, siblings, school, the works.
I hear people crying
wails of grief and rage
I see people smile
as they turn the page
I turn and look
outside my window
I feel the memories
of long ago
They came from
that child
a boy my own age
As he sits by the curb
on cold winter days
He's got nothing big
just the cloths on his back
no shoes or coat
no gloves or hat
All alone he sits
waiting each day
I think he's waiting
for someone
to take him away

Bring him home from the cold
take him in from the dark
He's been forgotten
left on a lark
Who will rescue him
Who can
I don't know if he's got
the will to stand
But he's got too much to die
he'll keep waiting
Watching all the people
pass him by
Nobody notices
nobody sees
How do you keep going?
How do you stay?

In the darkness of an opaque nightfall
is the light of all eternity's glory
Let the value of nothing's hopeless worth
be what binds you to purity
For infinity means a lack of boundries,
which there for becomes true evil.
