At the banquet for Sijo Steve Muhammed I sat next to Karate Royalty. Cynthia and Gary. We had gone so we could demonstrate Maia, Yaegaki Omote, Ukenegashi, Tsukekome, Tsukekage, nuciuchi, Tsuigekito, Shato, Shihoto, Zantotsuto, Kotekinuciuchi, and Hayanami. Champions, Grand Champions, World Champians, and the honored Sijo were telling me how great I did.
Cynthia had asked me what sports I did and I told her I had just started Aikido. In reality I've done karate for 5 years and sword for almost 4. She got on me about keeping my martial arts background a secret but the funny thing was that she was a stunt double in some movies including Million Dolar Baby and she was a Champion. Of what? I'm not sure.
