Oh, happy days! o.o
OMGOMGMGOMGMGGG!!1!!one!
domokun Bunna bunna... Jeez, I need to come on more often. Well, I've obviously updated... I don't know what's really happened. Something's not right... ninja
Our school just had the annual Student Art Show. I had two projects in it; a unicorn box and a carved tile, both constructed out of clay. I didn't get any awards or ribbons, but I was just happy having my work in it. My friend Ali had almost everything in the show that she had done throughout the whole school year. I swear it. I think she got two ribbons for Honorable Mentioned (Sp?) and she got four cirtificate awards. Talk about holy freakin' crap. There were a lot of really nice, detailed drawings in there. There was this pencil drawing of a snowboarder on a ski jump and behind him was this beautifully drawn castle by a lake (Which he did the reflection of the trees in). Under the castle (It was sort of on a cliff) was a small den where he drew this cute, but extremely ugly, monkey-dwarf-ish thing (There was one hanging on the castle also). Another one of the pencil drawings that where great was one of the Beetles. The picture was of a street with stores on the sides of the road with the Beetles standing in the street, but the Beetles were actually beetles. Then there was this other picture done in pencil and colored pencil. I think this one was my favorite. It was the artist (He had a nearly-afro look and was at the left side of the picture) by some mythical creatures. Some of the creatures where a dwarf in a purple suit, a leprechaun sitting atop of another creature, a moon with a face... Oh, I forget the rest...
The anime convention was freakin' awesome! I didn't know that it was one of those big, big, big ones. It was the AnimeCentral convention. Ah, when we drove through Chicago, Alex, Saku and me felt like such country folk. We were gasping and drooling over how awesome the city looked at night when it was all lit up. Then when we got to the hotel I thought I was going to piss my pants (Just saying it so you get the point of how big this hotel was) because it was so huge! It was one of those hotels that really rich people stay in. (I guess?) But, wow! It was great. I only found two other people who were dressed as the same person as me but they had different outfits of his on. I got my picture with them. xD One of the people was this guy (It suprised me; a guy dressed like a guy from a yaoi anime) and he was sort of hot, but he put his arm around me and I got kind of scared. Then the other person was this girl who was in his concert outfit with the cowboy hat. I was jealous 'cause she got to wear it. At the convention they had voice actors there and when we were still there (We only stayed for Friday and we left at 6:00 their time), they were doing two panels. One of them was the guy who did Spike's voice from Cowboy Bebop and the other was the guy who did Ed's voice from Fullmetal Alchemist (Sp?). I got a lot of pictures of people who had really nice cosplays. It made me a little shocked at how much time and effort some people put into their cosplay. When we were standing in line to register, we saw a little old lady cosplaying as CC Sakura (I think). It made me happy to know that there are some long time anime fans that old (Not trying to be mean).
Holy shizam! I believe I've done enough for now, I mean I think this is the most I've done before (Or its just me). I've got more stuff to type about, but I'll save it for my next entry, if I don't forget. Ah, be still your beating hearts! With love... Peace out. 3nodding
