Chapter 6: Time for a new start! |

Darkness, it seemed to swoop in and occupy his soul, it seemed to sit and linger as he slowly suffocated in its evil. The area around him was dark no doubt, and the cold was starting to sink under his clothing and turn him shivering. Cold...dark...and hard, what was he laying on? It seemed to be a thin cloth, but to Anthony, it felt as if there was nothing but cold stone. Peeking his eyes open, he awoke from his slumber, stiff and sore, and in what seemed to be, hell.
"Where...where...am.....I?"
Much to Anthony's displeasure, laughter erupted from what felt to be far away.
"Un-cover yourself my boy! For day is breaking! But you'll never get to see it again will you? Nope..."
Following the young voices intructions, his left arm swooped around throwing the blanket to the other side of the room, but at that very instant, he fell back to the floor groaning in pain as he gripped his self-destructive wound. Stiffness and pain coursed through him as he laid back down, but upon looking down to his shirtless body, there laid the bandages securly wrapped around him. Breathing hard, he placed his head on the ground, and closed his eyes, praying to wake up next to that girl again, he had forgotten about his father, and his life before that one mans death. Suddenly a small whisper erupted next to his right ear.
"Sithis...sithis will....guide you..."
The whisper was fast and hard to understand, but after some thinking, Anthony sat up ignoring the pain, though he only could do that for so long, and soon fell back gripping the wound once more as the distant laughter broke out again.
"Ha! Boy! Don't try to get up! Your never leaving that cell, your never coming back, you might as well just lay there and wait for death! Thats all you'll be doing anyways." The voice grew farther away as the other man walked to the back of his own cell. "Your just going to die in here anyways..."
Cell? Anthony rubbed his eyes and thought. Cell...i'm in a cell. I'm in jail? Why am I in-- Realization cut the thought in two, he then sighed as realization struck him. I killed two men in their homes. I'm never going to leave here.
"Sithis...sithis will...guide you..."
There it was again, haunting his thoughts with pure evil. Then, with a sly smile, he stood up straight ignoring the pain that was once again surging through body. He looked down upon his wounds and cackled high and loud, ignoreing his "room mates" gasps. And though he tried hard, he could not escape the intrusion of the guards running downt the corrdirors and yelling in their deep voices for him to stop. He stopped, though the sly smile was once again wiped across his face, just as he swept across the room to the guards whose faces continualy became more twisted and constorted with every step he took. Reaching the cell, he gripped his hands hard the thick iron bars and flung his head foreward as if to leap at the guards, who, in turn, lept back in fright of him.
"Boo!"
Laughing at their fear, he let go of the bars and returned to the back of the cell, and sat against the wall, clearly not caring about what they wanted him to do.
"Step out of the way please good men." A voice erupted behind the men who, in turn stepped back and allowed what seemed to be a holy figure to enter.
"I believe we have a lot in common young man." The wisened voice said clearly as he unlocked the cell.
This is where I must stop, and rewind. Anthony would be free, and Sithis would get his wish, though not as people, or Sithis would have liked for it to happen. It was the Nines turn. And so, we restart, with a fresh begining with a new man, and with a new destiny that will be intertwined with Anthony. Life would become harder as evil and good clashed in the soul of one man, who fought both with a burning passion. May the Nine be with them.
