For now, i'm gonna write about anything that's on my mind and whatever i feel like writing at the time.
My First Day at School
MY first two days at school went really well. I was expecting the worst, since it was a new school to me and I didn't know anyone there. I was afraid to get on the bus for some reason, but I'm glad I did because it wasn't so bad. I found out, however, that Rob is on my bus both to and from school. Anyway, I get to school and they have homerooms posted near the main office and I saw I was in homeroom 200. I had no idea where room 200 was, so I went down to the guidance office. When I got there I noticed that my guidance counselor wasn't in yet, and the lady there told me to fill out an appointment form, but I didn't want to do that. I stopped by Mr. D'Orvilliers's office and said hi. I asked him where room 200 was and he gave me a map of the school. So I had nothing else to do for a while since the bus dropped us off like a half hour early so I found room 200. After that, I walked back to where the homeroom lists were and kinda just walked back and forth to the guidance office and the homeroom lists. Then, I got tired of that so I just stood there not knowing what I was supposed to do for the long time I had left before homeroom. While I was standing there a girl and her friend were walking towards the cafetorium and she said hi to me and told me to go with her. So, I figured, why not? She had thought that I was a Freshman, but I don't blame her since I know I looked like I was completely lost. I told her that I was a junior and that I had just transferred to the school. She told me that she was a junior too and told me her name, but I don't remember what it is. It's either Molly or Anne or something. I'm going to find out tomorrow, hopefully. She introduced me to all of her friends, all of whom I've forgotten their names except one, Alicia. The only reason I remember her name is that she's in my Brit Lit class and she's the only one of the group that has lunch with me. So, we sat and talked until we had to go to class.

My homeroom was the history room. I found out that our homeroom is also our first period class. I guess they figured it was easier that way because we have the same classes everyday anyway. we didn't really have a set homeroom time. The teacher just kinda came in and collected our summerwork, which I still don't have done. I told her that I neeeded more time and she said ok and that I could hand in whatever I had completed. I didn't have any of it completed and she wasn't too happy about that, but whatever. That was my worst experience of the day... I think.

Second periiod was Brit Lit. That class wasn't too bad. We didn't really do much. He just explained what he expected from us during the year, and then gave us our first reading assignment about the Anglo-Saxons. We had to finish it and write notes about what we had read for homework.

Next, was Chem. I have the best Chem teacher. People keep asking me who I have for Chemistry, and when I tell them they all say that I'm lucky. He was really cool. He understood that I didn't have my summer work for him either since I didn't know about it until about a week ago. I didn't realize it at the time, but this kid named John was in my class. He sits at my table at lunch and is in my Algebra II class.

Next, was gym. That's when I found out that Rob is a junior and he's in my gym class. We signed up for group and individual activities for the first 9 weeks of school. I signed up for Frisbee/Beach Games and Pickle Ball/Ping Pong. That's going to be a lot of fun.

Then, I had a really cool class, Computer Graphics. Again, the teacher just told us about what we would be doing during the year. It sounds soooooo interesting. He showed us work from his previous classes and a lot of it was really really good.

I'm not sure if it was before or after computer graphics that I finally found my locker. It was right by the art rooms and the computer design lab is included in that. So, I decided to drop off the textbooks that I had. The only problem was, I couldn't figure out how to open the locker. I got the lock off without a problem, it was just really hard to get the actual locker open.

My next class is definitely my favorite class. I had fine arts I. I was really upset that I had to take fine arts I and not II this year since my teachers at St. Peter's set up the art cirriculum in such a way that that was the class I had to take. But, it doesn't really matter. Most of the students in that class are Sophmores (same as with my chem and algebra II classes). The teacher reminds me a lot of Mrs. Jolly. she was really cool, but she had a sort of tough image (she wasn't mean or anything though). She told us about her procedures and what she expected from us for the year. I know I'm going to really like the class.

Then, I FINALLY had lunch. By that time, my stomach was growling so loudly. I looked for Alicia, but I couldn't find her, so I just got in line for food. I bought my food, and then saw that she was behind me in the line, so I waited for her. I asked her where she was sitting, and she said she had no idea, but we found a table with her friends, so I joined them. I sat next to John, and he told me that he was in my Chem class. He also found out that we were in the same Algebra class. I didn't really talk during lunch, but I was eating so it didn't matter to me.

Then, I had Algebra class. It was the same old stuff. We had one of those middle aged women teachers who can be really strict or your best friend. I ended up sitting behind John after she assigned the seats.

My last class of the day, was psych. That is probably my second favorite class. I really like the teacher so far. I'm not sure about her, long term though. We didn't do anything except hear what we were going to learn this year again. Other than that, we sat and did nothing.
