After sealing Azian, times were not easy for Alan and Dexi, as they both suffered from Dexi's struggle to overcome her demons. It took several months for her to gain control of her magicks, and the times to follow were the happiest days she'd ever known. She and Alan were wed, and though they never had children of their own, they took in orphans of Dexi's experiments, and raised them as rulers. Dexi took over as Lady of the manor, and lived as their immortal queen for three hundred years before giving her station to one of the descendants of her orphans. She and Alan traveled the world, she giving him magic transfusions to keep him alive with her, and they saw many sights.
It wasn't until 1746 that their peace was interrupted by a chance meeting with a tall, elfen woman by the name of Aleira. She had been following the two for several weeks, and Dexi had finally cornered her, only to become shocked by the sight of the six foot six woman with blue hair, opaque silver eyes, and purple skin. The three spent the night in discussion, and Aleira revealed to them that she was, in fact, the original beast-born, the first carrier of the curse. She had passed the curse on to Dexi's bloodline by accident when she was younger, having been the lover of Azian, she'd let him ingest her blood, thus passing the curse to his offspring.
The trio became close friends afterwards, traversing the world, and Aleira revealing to them the many secrets of history. Dexi became enraptured by the woman, and a romance grew between them, driving Alan to a jealous rage. He left the two women, and disappeared from their lives, taking with him a young mage so that he might retain his longevity.
So it was that Aleira and Dexi became lovers, and shared their lives for many generations. They didn't see Alan again until 1826, when Dexi opened a pub under her newfound alias of Tamashii Ryuu. Alan had applied for a job there, and when he'd entered, the two women were shocked to see that he had grown old, and he explained to them that he'd lost the will to be immortal without Dexi by his side. The trio was reunited, until his death in 1905. Dexi closed the pub, and left Aleira behind, living in solitude in Egypt for many years, mourning the death of her Alan.
She didn't rejoin society until 1997, when she opened a nightclub in Europe. She lived there with her many employees and friends, until the place was burned down in 2003. Once more she had to mourn the deaths of friends.
For four years she returned to all of her former homes, collecting the many tomes and artifacts, including the book containing Azian, then settled in Durem, remodeling an old bathhouse into a nightclub, which she dubbed Sanguine Sanctum.
There she now resides, with new employees, and both old and new friends.
