Listen to me whine and complain about how my life sucks so bad.
Wow, it's been a while. I haven't posted an entry since september almost! Well, here goes nothing. Get ready for another pointless rant by none other than yours truly.

Health care: a blessing for some, a shot to the face for others. In America, we have the latest in medical equipment, and cutting edge research. However, with these big advancements comes a big price tag.

So around the '70s, President Nixon came up with a clever plan to save people money on health care and make it affordable for everyone.

This was the dawn of Health insurance (Kaiser Permanente) Sounds good right? Reduced fees, slow easy payments, best treatments money can buy? Where's the problem? well...

With each new idea, comes a price. A big one in this case. In a country based on capitalism, everyone want's there cut of the pie. But sometimes thats not enough, some people want the whole damn pie all for themselves. These are the insurance companies.

They set you up saying that you will pay a small monthly fee, and then get all the help you need. Let's say you get diagnosed with cancer. The Chemotherapy is free, if your approved. If not, your ********, and you die. Now, let's say your approved and you get better. You still end up so high in debt, because the company changes their mind on your approval and make you pay $160,000.

This can be because of things like 'previous existing condition' or 'incongruities on your files' . Either way, you end up selling your house to pay the debt, then end up living in your friends attic, or die of starvation.

Now, this very rarely happens, so why am I bringing it up? Because it doesn't have to work this way. In Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, all these countries have free health care. Its called socialized health care. Ooh, scary. Socialism! So, if these countries can do it, why can't we? Socialized health care is just like ours, only free. Thats the only difference.

We have a free police force, a free fire department. a free library, a free school system..so why isn't a trip to the hospital free? You do the math.
