Since the Suns' War, all the people in whats left of the world live in this city, Belladonna.. This is the year 6115, Technology has gotten so advanced that scientist traveled to the sun and found the the sun would die out sooner and become a red gaint than once thought.
The United State of America, once a world power now only second in command to Canada, went into imedate action. They decided to bring in another sun and remove our old one. This created a problem. Canada and its allies, consisting of Japan, Greenland, and Brazil, did not like this idea they thought that in doing so it would create more problems then it would fix, and said that humanity should just find another home. America, Britin, Iceland, China, and Iraq disagreed, so much so that a world war started.
The Suns' War lasted from 5965 to 5998. Amist all the destructuion death and confusion America madeits move and set out astronauts and the processes of moving the sun began. It wasn't until later that year that a scientist from Greenland notice when looking at the sky. Greenland told its ally Japan who sent a nuecluar warhead to America to hit its majoir cities. L.A, Washinton D.C., Chicago, Dallisand New York were completely destoyed. Yet this did not stop America's foolishness, they continued to bring the sun in. Mexico, noqw a territory of America faught back with its own neucluar warheads.
This became a chain reaction. Most countries that weren't involved became involved, and thus the world as we know it ended.
5999 the Polar Cap Colonies, located in Antartica, came out to see that they're icey wonderland was no longer white, now it was moist soil. Ecologists set out a peremeter of 100 miles drawn out by planted trees that spread out into a deep forest in all directions. And Belladonna was started.
Factories and scientist flew out in to the scorched world to get scrap metal and meterals to create buildings in the growing population in the city, and since Belladonna couldn't spread, she rose.
Government had to keep tabs on everything, food, water, population, and more importantly technology. A law was passed that no one, unless part of the government and with a lincense could ever invent anything. If this is done the CDA, or Civic Department of Arrest, goes after you and you and your friend and family disapear from Belladonna, no one know where you go. All the high-tech thing left over from the world we once knew is hidden in a vault far below the central building, or town hall.
