Okay, recently I've been on a bit of a reading spree (I've devoured Neuromancer, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Ubik and a number of Wodehouse's works in the last two or three weeks), but I'm finally confused.
Although Philip K. d**k is a good author, the last page of Ubik has got me a little confused. It doesn't really seem his style. Then again, I've only read one of his other books.
The way it looks is that d**k wanted to mess with the reader, and doesn't really have a way to tie it into the rest of the plot. But I hope there's something more.
Has anyone else read Ubik, and, if so, what do you think of this final page?
