Daniel was resting as long as he could from last night. Being up until 4:00 A.M. isn't exactly the most exciting thing that wakes you up. In fact, it doesn't the opposite...

Ibiki appeared through the window.

Ibiki: Daniel!
Daniel: Z.Z.Z.Z.Z.Z.Z.Z.
Ibiki: DANIEL!!
Daniel: Waaah!!

Daniel fell out of his bed.

Ibiki: Get up. I have an important matter I need to talk to the team about. Have you seen Jenny? She's not at her house.
Daniel: Ya... she's- *Yawn* She's downstairs sleeping on the couch. She says her house is too noisy.
Ibiki: Wake her up while i get Kim.
Daniel: Ok... *Yawn*

Ibiki dissapeared and Daniel fell onto his bed.

Ibiki: NO GOING BACK TO BED!
Daniel: AAAhhh!!

*Later that day in Daniel's kitchen*

Ibiki: As you all are probably aware of, the chunnin exam is coming up. It's where genin get the chance to be tested and try to become a chunnin.
Daniel: ...
Ibiki: Unfortunately for you three, I am exam 1 proctor, and because of that, you three cannot to the exam this year.
Jenny: Sensei, we've already heard all of this. Can we just go back to sleep now? *Yawn*
Ibiki: I figured you three knew this, and I came to tell you this. We have a secret source of information that we think the sand and sound villages are going to attack during the chunnin exams.
Daniel: !!! The Sound and Sand?
Ibiki: Yes. They have secretly teamed up.
Kim: But why would they attack? We've been at peace for so long!
Ibiki: We don't know why they would do this. We just know that they are going to revolt.
Daniel: What does this have to do with us?
Ibiki: We want you on the village boundary walls to help defend the village. I will be doing so as well, because we think it will be happening near the end of the chunnin exam.
Jenny: And Jordan is the same?
Ibiki: I don't know if Anko has gotten him confirmed for defense yet.
Daniel: And until then, what do we do? Train?
Ibiki: exactly, but this isn't any type of training, but terrain training. None of you know the boundary terrain very well, so you will be training out there from now on. I have gotten you each a sensei to teach-
Jenny: Wait, you mean you're not going to be training us?
Ibiki: No. There is a Jonin I want you all to meet. Meet me at Ichiraku Ramen at 2.
Kim: ...
Daniel: Kim?
Jenny: You aren't screaming...
Kim: I have to quit eating ramen.
Daniel: HAHAHAHAHA!!! You!? Quit eating ramen? That's impossible!
Jenny: Why do you have to quit?

Kim stood up from her chair.

Kim: I'm getting fat!

No one could see a difference.

Daniel: You aren't getting fat! What are you talking about!? You look the same weight if not less!
Jenny: Ya Kim, you're over exaggerating a ton. You look great.
Kim: What are you guys blind!? Can't you see this?

She pointed to her stomach.

Daniel: ..... You are not fat. You're crazy!
Ibiki: ... Meet me at 2. I'm going to leave before this gets any more awkward.
Daniel: Cheater!

Ibiki left. He headed towards the hokage's office. He walked in, and the hokage was sitting at his desk doing papers.

Hokage: Ibiki? What is it?
Ibiki: I'm sorry to interrupt lord hokage, but I need to speak with Matt. Can you summon him?
Hokage: ..... I'm sorry Ibiki, but Matt is in the infirmary. He was brought in this morning.
Ibiki: What happened to him?
Hokage: Serious mental injury. It could only be from extremely dangerous genjutsu.
Ibiki: He was suppose to train my team before the attack.
Hokage: Is that all you needed him for? I can do that.
Ibiki: No, please hokage. Don't burden yourself-
Hokage: It would be an honor to teach your students. These old bones need exercise anyway.
Ibiki: ... Thank you lord Hokage. We have a meeting with them at 2 at Ichiraku Ramen.
Hokage: MMMmmm... Ramen. Sounds good to me.

*At Daniel's house*

Daniel and Jenny were still trying to convince Kim she was not fat.

Kim: Nothing you guys say will make me feel any better. I at least expected my friends to tell the truth.
Daniel: fine! If you want it that way! You're fat!
Kim: How can you say that! You're my friend! You're suppose to make me feel better, no matter what the truth is!
Daniel: But-
Jenny: Leave it alone, Daniel... She's not convincable as long as she keeps going crazy like this.
Daniel: But we have to find a way to make her see she's not fat.
Jenny: How about a comparison with someone who is fat.

She smiled then stared at Daniel.

Daniel: Hey! I'm not fat! I'm no where close to fat!
Jenny: Whatever you say, Daniel.
Daniel: Shut it.
Kim: See? Now you guys are ignoring me! You're afraid to tell me the truth!
Daniel: We've been telling you the truth for the past hour!!!
Kim: ... You have?
Daniel: ....... WHY YOU LITTLE-

Jenny tackled him to the ground.

Jenny: Shut up you idiot!

Then Kim fell over.

Jenny: Kim!!!

Jenny got off of Daniel and ran to Kim.

Daniel: What the heck just happened?
Jenny: She's still breathing, but something isn't right.
Daniel: well of course something's not right if she's falling over unconscious!!
Jenny: Shut up! She's trying to say something!
Kim: Food..... Food.....
Jenny: Daniel! Grab some food! Quick!!

Daniel started going through the cabinets in the kitchen, then into the refrigerator. He pulled out a banana.

Jenny: A banana?!
Daniel: Shut up! I was in a hurry! Here!
Jenny: Here Kim, eat this.

Jenny started feeding the banana into Kim's mouth. Kim started chewing.

Daniel: what do you think was wrong with her?
Jenny: I think she was starving herself. That would explain the amnesia and mood swings.
Daniel: Those weren't mood swings, those were mood pole vaults.
Jenny: What?
Daniel: Get it? Swings? Pole vaults? ..... Never mind.
Jenny: She's coming back to us.
Kim: ..... What happened?
Daniel: You fainted from lack of food.
Kim: Not again!
Jenny: Again!? This isn't the first time!?
Kim: I haven't been eating. I'm trying to lose this fat!
Daniel: FOR THE LAST TIME! YOU ARE NOT FAT!!!
Kim: ... Really? You think so?
Daniel: .....

Daniel looked like he was about to explode again, so Jenny tackled him.

Jenny: Don't say a word!
Daniel: .....
Kim: Hey. Aren't we suppose to be somewhere at two?
Jenny: Ya, why? What time is it?
Kim: 2:05.
Daniel: WHAT!!?? WE'RE LATE!!!

They all ran out of the house.
