Warning: Contains Insanity
So, um, I'm Aku, and this is whatever I feel like writing about. Keep in mind that contact with the inner workings of my brain has been shown to cause third degree burns.
Aku's School Gets a Failing Grade (pt 2)
Here we go again.

Item four: The school counselors have basically told us that, although we are allowed to talk to our counselor about course selections, it is discouraged. We have been informed that they don't appreciate it when we spend more than three minutes discussing our options with them, because it takes up their time. ISN'T THAT THEIR JOB???? What do they do all day? I think that pretty much speaks for itself. Oh, and while we're on course selection, did you know that although the Psychology class teaches psychology, a science, it doesn't count as a science credit? And that juniors can take either normal history or AP, but nothing in between? Meaning that if you want something more challenging than normal, you HAVE to take AP? Fun, eh?

Item five: We haven't been getting much snow where I am, but we've had enough to warrant a snow day several times. Every county in the area gave their schools a snow day for these, except for one that gave them a two hour delay. We had school. Full school. There were lots of car accidents on those days, many of them involving students. Great judgment, guys, thanks a lot. On top of that, today it snowed. Not enough for a snow day, but certainly enough to get out early, or at least cancel after-school events. But did they? Of course not. Instead, they canceled the late buses, meaning that you still had to attend sports and clubs and such, but the school wouldn't provide transportation home. How does that make sense?

Our school has many problems. Our school system in general has many problems. In middle school, our school mascot was a rock, because parents complained about the Headless Horseman mascot. Also in middle school, I once had four math teachers in a year, because one of them quit halfway through and the county couldn't find a replacement. Oh, and a boy was given detention for wearing a pink shirt. Sad, no?

As a parting note, I feel I should mention that the hot dogs the school serves... well, they bounce like superballs when you drop them. o.O Have a nice day.
