Please make sure you have read the GUIDE for Future UTOPIANs as well as everything on this page before you apply. Anyone can apply, regardless of your gold, status, etc. Even if you are not a regular of the charity you can still apply but chatting and posting makes you stand out and have a greater chance of being chosen. * Every LAST weekend of the month UTOPIA's doors will be open for up to 30 new UTOPIANs (We can range from having 1 new member or the whole 30 new members). This period may change depending on our staff's schedules and free time though. So how does UTOPIA choose? I should become a Utopian, because I'm the kind of person that is always willing to have great conversations, donate, and have fun on gaia. I love making awsome friends and meeting new people, and I am an out-going person. heart I have a unique personality, a great humor, and i love helping people out with quests. I enjoy making fun games, contests, and giveaway for my guildmates! I recently decided to become part of Utopia's active thread, which was a great choice for me. I made so many new friends, ended up winning a contest, and had the best conversations. Now, I cannot wait to become part of the whole thing. :] I am the ideal Utopian, although I have unique kinks and quirks in me. ;] Great GAIAN Achievement/s: I won a lottery for a 2005 sealed. I used half of that money to donate to the charitys i am active in. I try to donate as often as I can, for i am in my own quest as well. Also, i finally began a successful quest thread with my friend. My favorite achievement was making 100k gold. (I returned to Gaia in the fall of 2007.) I have also completed many quests, all of them in my current quest thread. My biggest quests completed so far have been the elegant veil, the hammi hat, and the bammi hat. Like I said before, it seems like the pinnacle of Gaia. Also, by getting to be a UTOPIAN, I would be able to help other fellow gaians with their quests, for I have helped my friends with theirs. This would be an achievement. Apart from that, I have very good character and I get along with mostly everybody. Knowing I made their day is enough to get me through mine. A big accomplishment of mine was getting my friend a Ninja Headband. It was just before I was taking a hiatus from gaia and I wanted to get it for him. He always donates and he's always wanted that, so I got it. One of the things I sold was my Golden Laurels, I quested them for a long time and I've never gone for anything so expensive. After I gave him that I gave away my left overs to a friend. I had a lot of MCs left over. Those are two things I'm really proud of, because I made them happy. I'm really not sure if I have any special skills or qualities, I'm rather random, I know that. I'm not dramatic and avoid arguments whenever possible. I try donating to Gaians I feel truly deserve donations. I tend to help people alot though, even if it doesn't work out for me in the end. Plus, I despise hacking. It's horrible, and the people who do it, well..., I have nothing to say about them. I'd talk about banning, but I have never had this happen to me, but it has happened to my friends, along with hacking. I've done my best to help them after these terrible things have happened to them as much as I can. Great GAIAN Achievement/s (own a charity, finished a quest, won a contest, helped a friend, etc): I'd have to say some of my greater achievements are when I donated a Guitar of Demona to a friend who needed one for a dream avatar, or when I gave a CoCo to a person who felt the need to quest for one. Just recently, a friend and I quested for, and gave a Chyaku to a friend of ours for their 18th Birthday. I feel these achievements are better than my others because they had a purpose, and made the person who received them very happy. I've wanted to open a Charity for the longest time too. I intend to open one this year, whether I have my dream item or not. I guess those are my greatest achievements because they meant/will mean something to me. However, since it is on the application I have to answer it. I think my special quality or skill, however you want to look at it, is my personality. I think I am a very generous and thoughtful person. I can't draw or anything like that, but I help out my friends when they need help and I lend them a shoulder when they need that. I hope that's what you meant by this question because if you are looking for artists, writers, or anyone along those lines I guess you wouldn't want me. Great GAIAN Achievement/s (own a charity, finished a quest, won a contest, helped a friend, etc): My greatest Gaian achievement...helping my friends with quests? Once my Lotto ends then that will be because I am going to be giving 25k to a charity guild I am in and 50k to the winner, 25k goes to my quest that is never going to be finished. I also have a contest thread, it costs nothing to enter and the 1st place prize is 10k, then there is 2nd and 3rd place also. So instead, i've dedicated my time and effort on Gaia to donate to people at random items/gold that they are questing. Or sell them at cheaper prices than the Marketplace or in general. Just to make it affordable. I've dedicated my time in Gaia to make anyone happy..even if it means pixels. I love the feeling of making other's happy. I do love to make people happy. If I have some spare items, I'd rather give them to my friends then sell them on the MP. As for winning contests, I won this round at Fashion G-Mergency, I'm there quite a lot and because of Dream I found Utopia. I also won some other TekTek contests, but that's about it... We pulled off 601K in total donations. Thread owner of the Asian Angelic Quest Thread. Completed quest of Angelic Mini Wings and Angelic Sash, still working on Angelic Halo (and will be for a very long time because I donate too much. &_& wink Current Quest: Angelic Halo, then it will turn into a charity. Joining Utopia will help me achieve this. I also need a new home here on Gaia, and I hope Utopia will be that. In my opinion, I'm a great resource as well as friendly, and easy to talk to. I suppose another one of my special qualities would be how good I am with animals. I seem to understand them more than most people, and I hope to become a Zoologist someday to take my studies further. I often help people get bugs out of their profile, or with their math homework.
