The SeeDs Vol. 2
Chapter 3

As Princess Bella walked around her palace, she still was in awe at the size of it. She hadnt seen it since her childhood..not since that dunghead Gambino had overthrown her father...she could almost remember it now...

Twelve year-old Bella Miyamoto Muerte ran around the royal garden, chasing a bunny. She had been running after it since an hour ago..soon, her mother would call her in for lunch. Sure enough, Queen Erika called, "Bella! Lunch! Hurry up!" Bella abandoned her chase of the rabbit and ran into the castle. She ran throug a set of red doors into the royal dining hall, where she saw her mother, father, sister and brother sitting at the tables. King Tyrone smiled gently at his daughter as she took a seat. Bella returned the smile...a royal messenger came in. "Your majesty, Captain Gambino of the Royal Security Forces is here to see you." The king nodded. "Let him in." Gambino strode into the hall. "Your royal highness, it is an honor. And what beautiful children you have!" King Tyrone smiled. "Yes. They are the future of Gaia. My successors." At this point, Bella got out of her chair, and ran out of the room giggling. She was going to hide...to see if her father would come and find her and bring her back to lunch..she was a little too old to be playing games like these, but she found it fun. She hid in a suit of armor, and looked out. She saw several men with weapons dash through the halls. Then she heard it. The sound which would forever scar her memory. She heard gunshots. At that second, she knew that her family had been killed. She began to cry, but she stopped when she heard Gambino's voice. "There is a girl. She is the King's daughter. Find her and kill her! Bella stayed quiet, barely breathing. After a few patrols had run past, she got out of the suit of armor and had ran to her room. She quickly changed into her "peasant clothes". They were meant to be "dress-up" clothes, but Bella needed them. She then ran into the Throne room. She needed a weapon. She saw a sickle-like blade hanging on the wall. She grabbed it. A patrol walked into the room. "HEY! STOP RIGHT THERE!", he shouted. But Bella ran at him and cut his head off. She then jumped out a window and fell down a hillside into the forest which surrounded the castle. She began running and running and didnt stop until she reached the town of Aekea. There she used some of her money to stay at an inn. There, she found out that Gambino had murdered 4 members of the Royal family and had declared himself Lord of Gaia. A few weeks later, a unit of the army started looking for Bella, hoping she would come out of hiding and lead them in a counter-coup of Gambino. But she had stayed hidden. She continued to stay at the inn..for a few years in fact. When she needed money, she would break into the castle and take more. But eventually, Gambino got wise to what she was doing, and one day, she came and the vault was empty. And a few of his soldiers ambushed her. She had fought them off and ran out of the castle. She continued running along the road, until she had bumped into a red-haired boy. "Oops, Im so sorry!", Bella exclaimed, as she helped the boy up. He looked to be the same age as her. The boy brushed himself off. "No worries..Why are you in such a hurry?" Bella looked at him. "Some of Gambino's flunkey's are after me!" The boy looked shocked. "Where are they?" Bella didnt need to answer however, since the soldiers had appeared on the road and were making a beeline straight for her. The boy took out a Gunblade. Bella was shocked. Only one person had a Gunblade..he was the anti-Gambino warrior, Vercetti. Vercetti ran at the soldiers and within seconds had killed each and everyone of them. Vercetti turned around and looked at Bella. "Sorry about that, but these scum cant live. If they caught you, they'd do nasty things to you." Bella smiled. "Thank you. Say, are you Vercetti?" Vercetti nodded and smiled. "I am? And you are?" Bella smiled."My name is Bella Muerte." The expression on Vercetti's face turned from normal to extremely shocked. "Princess Bella??" She nodded. "The liberation movement's been looking for you for years! Everyone thought you had died!" Bella shook her head. "No. And I dont care to either. You looking for a sidekick?" Vercetti nodded. "Yeah, Ive been trying to get together a group that is strong enough to beat Gambino. So, yes, I am looking for help, and yes I will accept yours. And with that, they shok hands. That was the beginning of the SeeDs, the group of warriors who would become the force behind the undoing of Gambino. Then some sorceress named Adel had taken over, but an angel named Kerro Starbane had defeated her. Then the army had revolted, once they found out that Bella was alive, and she became the rightful ruler of Gaia.

Bella woke up. She found that she had fallen asleep on the smooth ground of a hallway, and that Kerro Starbane was above her, poking her. "Wake up, m'lady! Wake up!" Bella sat up. "How long have I been out?" Kerro smiled. "Thirty minutes, and your going to be late to dinner! The royal governor of Aekea province is coming!" Bella smiled and got up. She then walked with Kerro to the new dining hall. As they walked, Bella saw a set of red doors, and a suit of armor. Her heart felt heavy at first, but then it lifted as she remembered that her family had been avenged, that Gambino was gone and that she was the Princess of Gaia.
