C H A P T E R _ 1
The school bell rang, its time for the kids to go home. A girl named Mika started to walk home from school with her friend Ren. On their way home Ren turned to his friend Mika and asked her, “Hey, if anything happens you will tell me right?” Mika looked at him and said, “Always. We have been friends since before I could remember”.
Ren smiled at her and said, “Good”. They started to walk again. Mika walked up to the front door, and told Ren, “See you tomorrow” as she walked inside. Ren waved goodbye and walked to his home next door. Mika ran up to her room to do homework. When she got in there she herd a noise, like someone was talking and it was coming from outside.
She looked out her window, but saw no one there. So she grabbed her school work and worked on it until it was finished and could finally go to bed. Later, in the middle of the night she woke up because she heard the talking again. This time she tried to listen to what it was saying. It said, “Two dreams, one new star”.
Mika looked outside again, but the voice stopped. So she fell back to sleep. The next morning her alarm a clock was beeping. So she got up and ready for school. Mika walked down the stairs, and she heard the voice again, “Two dreams, one new star”. She ran outside to see if she could see where it was coming from. She ran, and tripped, ending up on top of Ren. “Oh-no!” she said as she got off of Ren. “I’m so so-so sorry”, she apologized. Ren looked at her and laughed.
“Well, that was fun”, he said. Then Mika asked Ren, “Hey, did u hear see or hear someone say, ‘Two dreams one new star’?” Ren looked at her like she was crazy. “No. Are you feeling OK?” Mika hit him on the head, and left for school. Mika walked into class and took her seat. The sits behind Mika gave her a poke. Mika looked at her and said, “What do you want Sorano?”
Sorano giggled and said, “I know why you can’t find the voice”. Mika looked at her with a shocked face. Before Mika could respond the teacher walked in and class began. After school Mika started looking for Sorano. Finally, she found her under a tree. “What do you know about the voice?” Mika asked. Sorano giggled again and said, “’Two dreams one new star’ means two dreams will come on the way to a new star”. This time Mika looked at her like she was crazy, and said “OK then, crazy lady”.
Sorano got up, and disappeared. Ren walked up behind Mika and put his hand on her shoulder. “Are you ready to go Mika? I can’t wait all day for you”, he said. Mika looked at Ren and said, “Yeah, let’s go”. As they where walking home Mika heard Sorano giggle. Almost as if she was watching.
They had made it home, said their goodbyes like always as Mika headed inside. Mika ran up into her room, laid there on her bed, and did homework. Suddenly, Sorano pops up out of nowhere onto Mika’s desk. “Look out side the window”, Sorano instructed. Mika looked out the window. She saw the three kids across the street asleep in there beds. Suddenly there was a bright light all around her.
Mika ended up in a different world. All she could see was a floating box that looked like a star. She walked up to it, and grabbed the box. Everything disappeared, and she was back in her room. Mika looked at the box, and then slowly opened it. A gold ring centered with a white stone was inside.
She put on the ring, and the ring began to glow a brilliant blue. As the light gets brighter Mika becomes unconscious. She woke up the next morning and the ring was white again. “Sorano, where are you?” Mika called out. Sorano was no where to been seen. Not sue what to do, Mika got ready for school. When she got outside she saw Ren waiting for her.
“That’s a cool ring. Where’d ya’ get it?” he said. Mika looked at him with a worried expression. She had no idea what to tell Ren. She couldn’t really tell him she just found it floating around in a star shaped box. He would think she was crazy. Despite this, she asked the question anyway, “Would you believe me if I told you?”
They started to walk to school while Ren thought a bit, and eventually said, “Yes. I would believe you. So tell me”. Mika told him the whole story about Sorano, the ring, and the floating box. Mika waited patiently for his response. “You’re right. I don’t believe you”, he said with a laugh.
Quick to change the subject Ren said this, “Hey, why don’t we go somewhere after school? It could be fun” he said with a smile. Mika said “Yes” and gave a nod with her head. Mika continued racing the rest of the way to school when she ran into Sorano.
Sorano and she giggled and said “You’re the keeper on the Muchi Ring”. Mika looked at Sorano, and the ring turned Green. “Well you seem to know everything. What does green mean?” Mika said. Sorano giggled and answered, “Green the color of wonder. Mika what’s something you wanna know?”
Mika thought a little and said, “I want to know who my true love is”. The ring turned pink. “Now all you have to do is touch someone. If the ring turns yellow, it means you’ve found em’. If it turns purple, it’s not meant to be. You can only ask this once every two hours, it will turn white again once it’s out of juice so try to hurry!” Sorano gave a wave of her hand. “Good luck!” she said, as she disappeared. Mika walked into the class room hoping school would be over soon.

Mika walked into class and took her set and a girl that sits behind her poked mika looked at her and said “what do you want Sorano?” Sorano giggled and said “I know why you can’t find the voice” Mika looked at her with a shocked face then the teacher walks in and class starts. After school Mika looking for sorano and finally she found her under a tree and said “what do you know about the voice” sorano giggled again and said “two dreams one new star it means two dreams to come and the way to a new star” Mika looked at her like she was nuts and said “okay then crazy” sorano got up and disappeared red walked up behind mika and he put him hand on her Shoulder and said “ready to go mika I can’t wait all day for you” mika looked at ren. Yes lets go” as they where going home Mika herded Sorano giggle as if she was watching Mika They had made it home and Mika said see you latter like always and headed inside. Ran up into her room and did her home work and layer there on her bed and Sorano pops up out of nowhere and on Mika’s Desk and said “look out side the window” mika looks out the window and next door she saw to kids asleep in there bed and then there was a light all around her. Mika ended up in a different world all she could see was a floating box that looked like a star. She put it on and the ring glowed Blue and Mika passes out form the blue light. The next morning she got up and the ring was white again and she said “sorano where are you” as she called she was no where to been seen so Mika got ready for school and saw Ren out side and he said “that’s a cool new ring where u get it” mika looked at him with a worried look Haveing no clue what to tell him because she just found it floating so she said “would u believe me if I told you?” Red started to walk to school and said “yes yes I would so tell me” So mika told him the whole story and he said “your right I don’t believe you” he turned and laughed then said “hey why don’t we go somewhere after school Mika Nod her head and said “yes” then ran to school and mika ran into Sorano and she giggled and said “you’re the keeper on the Muchi Ring” Mika looked at her and the ring turned Green and said “well u seem to know every thing what does green mean” sorano giggled and said “Green the color wonders Mika whats something u wanna know?” Mika looked and said “I want to know who my true love it” the ring turned pink sorano said “now touch a guy any guy if the ring turns yellow it means u found him if it turns purple its not but you can only ask this onec in 2 hours it will turn white again so try to hurry” sorano disappears Mika walked into the class room hoping school would be over soon.

A note from Lizzy's big sis Leah: Around Christmas Break I got REALLY bored and decided to translate Liz's story into english. We all know she doesn't have the best spelling and grammar. I love her dearly, but that's the truth. So I have re-posted the new version. Also, to keep the original version for referencing and sentimentality, I left it posted below in a smaller text.
However, the new version I posted isn't the official one I'm working on. It's just the original with better grammar and spelling. A first draft, or road map of sorts to help me make the new one. Please keep in mind I WILL be posting the new version on a website. I'm hoping to get up a link to the first chapter once I am finished and happy with the results (I'm a stickler for perfection. So I'll end up editing it a couple times).
