She had no idea what she was doing here. Honestly.... who in their right mind would be caught dead, in the middle of the night no less, outside their dorm sneeking around. But she had to find out if ______ was here, if they actually came to see her. So she kept on running through the field, praying she wouldn't get caught and pausing before rounding a corner to make sure security guards were out of sight and she was out of theirs.
"One more corner" she thought "then im in the clear". but as she rounded the corner, the last obstacle to _______ someone grabbed her and she gasped as she heard the familiar voice whisper "I finally caught you".





Akira sat in class as usual, doodling as her teacher spoke about how this year a boys dorm would be added to the school and that even though boys would be in class with the girls they wouuld sleep and live in dorms across the campus. Most girls were facsinated by this idea and some only cared that boys would finally be a part of daily life again. Yet, Akira didn't seem to pay attention. She could care less if guys infested her school. She was content with her boyless schoollife and no boy would ruin that.
"isnt it exciting"
"What?" Akira suddenly looked up and noticed the teacher left the girls alone in the room momentarily and her best friend, kalina was now talking to her. the whole room was in a buzz now that she noticed it but she zoned all the other girls out as she turned to Kalina.
"Were you even listening?" Kalina said sarcastically.
"yeah. whats the big deal.? i could care less unless one of those idiots take my place as highest honored student. My grades come first."
"I guess.... but wouldn't it be exciting if one of us fall in..."
"paallleeeaassseee. Don't even say it. you'll make me sick. We dont need love. we've been here 10 years without a boy we don't need any now." And with that the bell rang for class to be dismissed and Akira got up and went to her dorm room. Shehad been at Seamont since she was 5 and not once had she called home or gotten a call from home. it was obvious her family didn'r need her so she gave up on them long ago. But still, she always wanted to pick up the phone and call. She slowly reached for the phone and piked up the reciever. She breathed and began to dial the number. Then as the phone rang kalina came in. Akira whirled around and hung up the phone. She didn't want kalina the see her talking to her family. She never called before.
Kalina was arika's roommate and she came to seamont just before she did. Akira was cast from her home to live in this private school. Her family was so ignorant to life. It was the simple fact that Akira had white hair and red eyes that make her so unloved. When she was 5, her parents simply told her she was to live somewhere else and she was not to embarrass them there. She was sent to seamont and she did what all outcasted children do when they are alone....cry. She cried because she thought she committed a wrong and was unloved. It wasn't until Akira was deep into despair that Kalina came to Seamont and befriended her, which was strongly unfavored by her other classmates. She switched her dorms to be with Akira and made her sorrows fade. She eventually made Akira strong enough inside to be social and most people warmed up to her. That is.... most. She didn't want to lie to Kalina but could she tell her what she was doing even though Kalina knew what her parents put her through?
" Who were you calling?" Kalina smiled as she asked. Akira only looked back at her.......
