An overview. Gah.

Shinkei (Kei) Kiosera is the head Vampiric assassin, Fayt Leinguard is the Holy Swordsman of the Elves, Jade Shalico is the Head Elven War mage, Sinshi Kotake is an Elven knight (He's a demon) and Iollon is a sorcerer.

The Elves and the Vampires are in a forest somewhere. The Elves have a camp and the Vampires have a hidden force. Fayt is the commander of the camp and Kei is the commmander of the hidden force. (I'm going to skip everything until Jade Shalico arrives, most of it is pretty irrelvant (sp)) Jade is making her way towards the elven camp and an assassination is attemped on her by a traitor elf, who knows of the beast that sleeps inside her. Meanwhile, Kei, who has a light personality and a dark one, is in the Vampire hidden force with Iollon. Her dark personality is trying to overtake her light one. She quells her dark personality for a while with the help of Iollon. Jade defeats the traitor elf and continues towards the camp. On the way there she meets an elemental that Iollon sent after her and kills it. The she meets Sinshi Kotake (Sin from now on) and they find on that they're on the same side, so they decide to walk to the camp together. Kei is nearby and decides to kill Jade Shalico. A battle takes place, in which Kei fuses with her dark side and puts the Spell of the Black hand on Jade, a curse that will eventually turn her into a Vampire. Sin carries Jade to the camp, of which a healer is absent. Kei appears and tells them that she is the only one that can help them, then Shifts (teleports) away. Jade and Sin decide to go to the Vampire camp to get the spell off Jade. On the way there, Jade accidentely infects Sin with the curse, so they double their pace to get both of them healed in time. Meanwhile, Kei and Dark Kei visit a dreamscape, in which Dark Kei is torn away from Kei. Kei wakes up and realizes that she can't help Jade anymore. Jade and Sin, not knowing of this fact, continue towards camp. Jade sprouts fangs, and they have a tussle with a Vampire. When they reach the camp, Kei laughs at Jade's fangs, and Jade in a fit of anger tries to strangle her. Kei actually dies, and a spirit flies down to inhabit the body - Dark Kei, now known as Katrin. Katrin heals Jade, but cannot heal Sin, because the blackness has gone Dallashandra, the demon word meaning that it has begun to affect his brain. Katrin tells Jade that she must take her to the Vale of sorrow, so she can draw on the magik there. Jade takes them there and Katrin launches herself into Sin's mind. The following speech takes place:

Katrin leaves her body, throwing her mind into Sin's. She flies past memories and thoughts she has no use for. Stopping for a moment, she uses Sin to speak.
"There is a time for the truth. The truth about me, and Kei..." She continues on, wishing she could have seen Jade's face when Katrin's voice came out of Sin's body.
Here Kedrren! She calls, encircling herself with magik. She stops again.
"I am not a demon. In fact, I don't even exist. "
She flies past more memories and smiles.
Here Kedrren! She calls again, looking for the blackness. She sees it and stops for the final time.
"I don't suppose any of you care if I die. You might have saved Kei, but not me. I'm nothing, no one. Kei created me. She knew this day was coming. She knew Jade would kill her. She knew that...certain things would happen. She knew that I would put the Kedrren on Sin, but not Jade. But neither of us knew why. Now I do. Somehow I always did. Somehow I knew my fate. And somehow...I will survive. "
She flies closer to the blackness.
"You thought that the blackness and the Kedrren were the same things. I think that if I...had realized this sooner, I might have... Well, it's all in the past now. The body you see lying on the ground is not Kei. It's Katrin. There never was a Kei. I came first, and created Kei, who in turn created me...or thought she did. In fact I was always there, watching, waiting for my chance. She did not create me, rather released me from my barriers that I had put around myself in the first place. This could have been different. I could have been different. And now I never will be. Only thought can keep me on this plane, and it seems your thoughts will speed me off it instead. I am a Vampire, and condemned for it. Yet none of you even speculated about the truth. The truth about me. My truth, the hidden truth that will never come to pass. I'm telling you everything, and still, I'm telling you nothing. For there is nothing to tell. The truth has always been there. It is always there. It's there right now, in the body lying on the ground. You just had to abandon your gods cursed prejudice and look closer. But I suppose...you never have, and I see no reason why you ever will. There is no reason for you to look closer, to look beyond the ears and teeth. It's funny, in a strange way. We judge each other on the shape of our ears and teeth.
Jade. I see now, what I have always overlooked. I see it now, now that I look. I can see now, why...Well, it's your secret, your past to tell.
Fayt. Jade was right. Don't kill her, I persuaded her to bring me here. Kill me if you're that bloodthirsty. Enough talk. I want this over, now. I...I say goodbye, and I know I will not be missed. "
Katrin throws herself into the blackness, wrapping it around her like a cloak. She absorbs the first layer and continues onto the next, diving in and collecting, absorbing and moving on. She reaches the inner layer of the Kedrren and grabs the small black orb, and crushing it in her fists. She lunges out towards the fringes of Sin's mind, aiming for the exit, laughing with delight all the way.
It's over! She crows, exiting Sin's mind and throwing herself into the air. It's finally over...
Katrin reaches her body and slams into it, There is a shimmer and she is gone. . And yet...The thought echoes around the clearing. It is only the beginning.
//I'm not dead, I've just gone...somewhere. Sin, I apolgize for using your body to speak //

She is gone and everyone stands around in confusion. That's about where we're up to.
