Almost
Dead Philosophy

Az and Agito have a very special sort of relationship, encompassing everything I hated and loathed about rp at the time.

Originally stumbling upon Az while tracking Ambient, Agito was under the false impression that she could be used as a sort of tracking device, and decided to train her. Not having anything better to do with her time -- and rather interested in this strange human who she couldn't hurt -- Az agreed. After all, he had a fancy suit of armor and magic swords, and a stick that came from nowhere. There was a lot to be interested in.

There was training, of a sort, but it tended to get interrupted a lot. Essentially, Az didn't learn much off Agito in the way of fighting that she didn't already know, but she did have a lot of fun while not-learning. He seemed to glean nothing that wasn't more or less infuriation with her short attention span and lack of commitment to combat, however.

The problems arose from the fact that Az and Agito, after a lot of fighting, turned to the other constant. It wasn't a conscious decision, or one that was discussed, it was simply that their feelings ran deeper than they should have and neither was sure how to react to that -- Az reacted by being infuriated at Agito's existance, and Agito reacted by trying to kill her. It was rather sweet, really, in between trying to kill each other.

When they were finally beggining to get a handle on things -- both emotionally, and training-wise -- Slade [Agito's old mentor] showed up. Instead of attacking Agito directly, he blew up the bar and damn near mutilated Az, which lead to a very awkward discussion on the couch. Az was infuriated that Agito was seeing her as weak, and Agito was stunned by the fact that she was so hostile. However, this did nothing to dampen their feelings, and as such, further things occured.

There was a brief encounter with Agito's son when Agito died, briefly, but that's not really worth mentioning except in the sense that when Agito returned, he seemed a lot less angry, and a lot more interested in seeking the comfort that Az inevitably couldn't consciously offer him.

They fought again after that, which was to be expected, but Az was finally tired of the cat and mouse games, and Agito was finally tired of being shackled to the innocent little hive child. He had tried to leave before, and failed, but this time he would have succeeded if not for the fact that Az stomped her foot and threw a tantrum about it. Bewildered -- and slightly amused -- he seemed to accept the inevitable, and they came to an understanding of sorts, however briefly.

Oh, yeah. But see, while Agito was finally figuring out what it was to be human again, and Az was finally beggining to understand what it meant to not hate someones very existance, the diety Agito was actually in service to was getting a little bit pissed off. He had granted Agito certain advantages, and here his loyal disciple was ignoring the reason for his being alive and indulging in pleasures of the flesh -- and seeking, not to mention recieving, comfort despite this. Agito had failed to mention this, but all the same, his master showed up and there was a lot of pointing and accusing. Az was, after all, the reason for Agito's downfall -- and as such, Agito was sent to a very special kind of hell to learn the error of his ways.

Az, predictably, wasn't exactly pleased about this. Agito wasn't all smiles and sugar, either.

Name: Agito
Age: Mid-late 20s, physically
Eye Color: Pale blue; often glazed over
Hair Color: Black
Hieght: Tall
Build: Heavily muscled
Distinct Markings: Tribal tattoos across chest
Species: Human
Attire: Cloth boots, pants, and hooded cloak -- all tattered and old. Cloak tends to move of its own accord. Belt around waist housing three swords, wraps around hands.

Agito is, to put it bluntly, an a*****e and tends to kill anything that doesn't do what he wants or gets in his way.

He was trained by Slade, many years beforehand, which is where he got his Unit from. It constantly demands bloodshed, and he's more than happy to give it what it wants. He's an extremely skilled fighter even without it, although as time goes on, he finds less and less joy in this fact. He has a remarkable amount of power at his disposal -- not to mention, some interesting weapons -- and attempts armageddon a few times just for the hell of it.

In service to a dark diety, its not entirely clear what his purpose is; all that is known is that he's not one of the chosen, just a disciple, and isn't really meant to be particularly warm and fuzzy. Bad things happen when he starts straying from his path.

He was in love once, but she screwed him over. As a result, he stopped being upbeat and flirtatious and sexual; and instead became cold, angry, merciless and interested only in his own agenda. He doesn't regret this change, and rarely strays from this persona.
