This is the beginning of book 2. It's all I have written for it at this time, so don't complain. I was actually quite depressed when I wrote this, which was last night.


Savakuda: Re-Unborn

Prologue:
Discovery

March 21, 463 Rebirth
New Sunset, Wisconsin

"Jesse! We gotta hurry this up before the sun goes down!" Says a man wearing crude clothes made from deer hide.
"I know, I know! What do you reckon we will find here, Jacob?" Says Jesse to the deer-hide clad man.
"I don't know, but hopefully some new clothes!" Says Jacob, Scratching at his chest. "This things itchier than hell!"
They had been digging under an open lot in the small town, hoping to get their hands on some "old age" items. The new humans of the world today had found the little remains left by the old humans from millenia ago, and learned english and the history left behind from well preserved books and pictures, making a quick start to technology and the rebuilding of Earth.
Suddenly Jacob's rock-spade hits a piece of metal with a 'c***k!'. Jacob suddenly stops and looks to Jesse, who had stopped digging also at the sound of the unknown object.
"What is it?" Jesse says, looking at what seems to be a long, thin, leather case of some sort.
"I dunno." Jacob says, setting his rock-spade down in the dirt beside him, getting on his hands and knees. He rubs the leather where he cut through with his rock-spade and found well-crafted silver, polished to mirror-sheen.
Jacob looks over to Jesse, who looks back wide eyed, and then back down at their discovery and grabs the leather and pulls, partially bringing along with it the pelvis of an "old age" human.
"Lord, Jacob! It's a damn body!" Jesse says, jumping back a little.
"Help me pull it up you curd!" Says Jacob, brushing away dirt from around the ancient skeleton.
After about half an hours work, they manage to pull up the body and examine it. The sun long gone, the moon shined brightly and fully in the cloudless sky. Jesse looks at the leather and carefully pulls the silver out of it by the handle, which was encrusted with gems, very rare at the time. Jesse nearly passes out at the sight and drops the silver, making it catch the light of the moon and hitting the corpse right in the face, or at least where one used ton be many ages ago. Suddenly the skull starts vibrating.
"Be careful you idiot!" Jacob yelled at Jesse. He starts to go pick up the silver when the skeleton suddenly rises from the ground and stands between them. Jesse screams and runs away, while Jacob falls back, paralyzed by the pile of bones hovering above him. Suddenly the skeleton stops and instantly starts to grow muscle and flesh before his eyes, and finally clothes appear on the complete body and is set to the ground on its feet. The newly formed "old age" human opens his eyes, looking around dazed and confused. He spots Jacob and examines him closely.
"Who are you?" Asks Jacob shakily.
The form looks into his eyes.
"My name is Sava."

Chapter 1:
Remembering

"Where am I?" Sava asks.
"Your in New Sunset, Wisconsin," Says Jacob.
New Sunset? Did people come back? What am I doing here? I can't remember s**t.
"What year is it?" Asks Sava.
"Its 463 Rebirth, sir."
Rebirth? 463? What the hell?
"What do you mean by rebirth?" Asks Sava.
"It's the new dawn of man. It's been 463 years since the first city was created down in New York."
At the sound of the new dawn of man it finally hit me. I have been dead for more years than I can count. How did I come back? How did I die?
I look down and see the silver. The sword. Dracula's sword. Then the memories shot at me like rockets.
Places, things, people.
People.
...Kuni.
I suddenly stagger and fall back, blacking out.

I wake up to a face.
It was the most beautiful face I had ever seen.
"Sava."
The face spoke. It spoke with the most familiar voice I ever new.
"Kuni..." I whispered back.
Suddenly I open my eyes to see the face of Jacob standing over me, looking worried. When he noticed my eyes were open, he seemed to cheer up and reach a hand down to me. I grab it and he pulls me up.
"Are you ok, Sava?"
"I'm not sure." I say back, letting a stray tear fall from my face into the damp earth below.
"Do you need something to eat? Or maybe to drink?"
Drink.
I instantly put a finger in my mouth and feel my teeth, and p***k my finger on a fang. Jacob notices this and looks at me like I was going to bite him.
"You have some large teeth there." He says quietly.
"Yeah, and I was actually hoping they'd be gone." I say with a frown.
