ok this is a hilarious excerpt from a book i was reading..to understand the funnyness ill have to give yu a summery well here it is
this book is set in modernday times..there are two twin highlanders from the past who now live in this time ( can't go into too much detail their stories were before the one im reading eheh) they are druids..kinda like wizards.. their ancestor was trapped in a magical mirror when he was thirty..they never knew he was the history books say he had just disappeared...the ancestor's name is Cian and he is now in the possesion of a lady (*the mirror he is trapped in is in her possesion*) she can let him out of the mirror for a small time by saying a spell but the mirror reclaims him after awhile.. One of the twins (Dageus) saw the two of them..but he did not know that was his ancestor (neither did the ancestor) he thought Cian was some dude who was threatening the lady he was with so he went over and started an agument.....(thats when they find out that Cian is his ancestor and Cian finds out that his family did survive) blah blah...anywho Dageus decided in order to get his ancestor to come back to the castle he'd steal his ancestors car he was driving and the mirror in it too..(Dageus had no idea that his ancestor had been let out of the mirror for a short time nor did he know anything about the mirror)..........well Cian was reclaimed by the mirro about the same time Dageus was moving the nice pretty NORMAL mirror across the lawn into his castle to show his twin brother Drustan when all of a sudden he heard......

" YOU BLOODY FRICKEN IDIOT!" the mirror roared. "HAVE YU ANY IDEA WHAT YOU"VE GONE AND DONE?"
dageus was so startled by the bizarreness of the Dark Glass roaring at him he did what most men would have done.
He dropped it.
Now about this time Dageus's twin was looking out the window.
As Drustan walked pass a tall window he looked out and saw his brother standing out on the lawn,gazing down at the grass.
Drustan then starts to think about how happy his brother is now and such but he stops in mid thought.
and he was looking forward to a long time of-------
He blinked
Dageus was conversing with a mirror.
Standing in the middle of the front lawn, holding it gingerly by the sides, and speaking heatedly to it.
Drustan rubbed his jaw perplexed
Why was his brother talking to a mirror? Was it some strange twenty-first century way of mulling htings over, of --- literally--- consulting with oneself?
Drustan looked again at Dageus.
Below him, Dageus was now shaking a fist and shouting at the mirror
Drustan closed his eyes.
he yelled to his wife. "Twould seem Dageus is, for some unfathomable reason, having a heated discourse witha looking glass out on our front lawn.....
..HUh? gwen yelled
He sighed. "HE's tlaking to a mirror...I must go discover why."
Back to Dageus
Pick me UP you ham-fisted oaf. The bloody frigging sun is bloody frigging blinding me," the mirror snarled.
Dageus blinked down at the glas. Twas laying faceup on the lawn and stuffed nigh to bursting with an enraged Cian Mackelter.
..."What the hell are yu doing in there, kinsman?" he managed blankly.
There was a man inside a mirror. His relative. His ancient realative.
he gingerly picked the mirror up.
After this Cian demands Dageus go back and pick up the girl hes on his way but first he has to show the mirror to his brother.
"We're going the WRONG way!" the mirror shouted for the third time,as Dageus walked up the front steps and entered the castle.
"No we're not im going to put yu in the castle while i go get the lady"
then Dageus bellowed , "Drustan!" with enough volume to rattle the eeaves.
"Christ, Dageus im right here" Drustan said from the stairs
"How was i to know that? Why are yu standing there Drustan?"
"why are yu talking to a mirror, Dageus?" Drustan said very, very quietly.
Dageus shook his head. He had no time for explanations. The woman's name, Cian had told him as they'd crossed the lawn, interspersed with his increasingly pissed off demands to accompany him back down to Inverness, was Jessica St. James. She was an innocent in this-watever"this"was- adn she was in mortal danger.
He had to go. NOW.
Propping the mirror against the wall near the door, he waved a hand at it and clipped, "Drustan; Cian Mackelter. Cian: Drustan Mackelter."
Dageus," Drustan's voice was soft as velvet, never a good sign, "why are yu introdusing me to a mirror?"
"Look in the mirror, Drustan."
Drustans jaw dropped
Dageus smiled it was nice to know he was not the ony one who was unnerved by the sight ofa man in a mirror. "I doona believe he can get out, Drustan, so he shuldn't present a danger. However, you may wish to store him away from women and children until we know more."
Drustan was still gaping speechless.
The mirror growled,"Away from women and children? IVe NEver been a threat to women and children , you lummox!"
Above him Drustan finally found his voice "CIAN Mackelter! he exploded. "mean you our ANCESTOR Cian. THe one from the NINTH century?"
^__^ well that was it srry its so long but once yu read the stories its quite funny.
