So, my night out on Wednesday went well (guess I could have blogged sooner, but I'm lazy). Turns out I have a pretty decent alcohol tolerance (considering I've never had it in my life, really) - Four pornstar cocktails and a goodly amount of applepie shooters and I didn't even notice a difference. Plus, the food was really good. lol, I think I'm just a really mellow drunk... I slept really well that night. =3
I got my truck fixed. So it's all awesome with new sound system and no more crap dents. Still need to put in the new thermostat (It's been running cold since I got it - not good for my poor gas consumption), but that's stupid easy - I can do it just as soon as I have some spare time.
Jenni and I went to Nanaimo for a shopping trip; where my Inner Trekkie was revealed because the new movie was still playing and I had to see it again!!! I'm in love with the series all over. *-* I gotta say (and I never thought I'd say it), Spock is damn sexy in that movie (in the geektastic way that he is). And there were explosions! And Scotty! And Kirk getting his a** handed to him by a certain half-Vulcan (rofl XD)!
...And my truck was being all grumpy with me for making it drive that far -_- (the tranny was acting up and didn't want to shift gears properly - there's just something about 90km/h that it doesn't like. It either wants to gear down to 80/70, or jump up to 110... the picky b*****d that it is... xP ).

It really captures the weird state of mind I'm in right now: pissed right the hell off for no particular reason, which actually amuses me in a strange way. I've actually noticed I've been getting a lot more... well, "aggressive" than I used to be. Not behaviorally, I think (although some people seem to think so), but just the way I think. I'm a lot more critical and most of it comes down to "I don't give a ********." Or something to that effect.
Oh yes, and did I mention
the crazy hobo that tried to hug me tonight? =O No?
He hangs out around the restaraunt a lot. And he came in tonight, completely shitfaced and started walking towards me with his arms out. I almost slapped the guy - If I hadn't been so initially weirded out. But meh, I just kinda backed away to behind the counter and told him I didn't like hugs... though he still tried to follow me. Jessica (the jerk XD) ran back to the kitchen when he started talking to her and left me to deal with his anticts. Anyway, he tried it a few more times before wandering off, muttering to himself. Then he raided our condiment stand for the ketchup packets and the little coffee milkers... It was... very strange. O_o
But not as bad as that time that this old guy started talking to me, and then he put his hand on my shoulder, and SERIOUSLY invaded my personal space. Like, I Felt His Chest Against My Back, kind of close. *shudder* =S
Ah well, it's two in the morning and I really should stop giving myself sleep deprivation. I get really bitchy when it happens, apparently.
