Why hello there again! I haven't been on Gaia in forever, but since I'm finished stalking, we are ushered into Round 2 of website occupations! AKA Venting. Ahh, broadcasting your complex anger to those you will never meet, is there a finer way to end a Saturday?
Onto the show!
Today, my anger is sparked and twitching over miscommunication. This matter is not two-sided and I do hold myself partially responsable. To ensure that you are clued in (so to speak), let me explain a scenario which occurs as frequently as a sunrise. Please refrain from laughing. It hurts when you do. Although I would wink
Whenever I aquire friends, they usual perfer a small group (that, or we are just losers). We consisted of 2 girls and 2 boys. Guess what happended? Ever heard the saying "boys can't just be friends"? There is truth in these words, however they apply to us females too. Anyways, my female friend started liking one of my male friends. She confided in me and I begun to see all the positive, quirky and cute personality traits she was claiming existed in him. I fell. Not literally people. Ya know what I mean. He began to notice me too. After discussing the matter with each sepeartely, I concluded that I would wait until my female friend moved on. Well that event took place and then another obstacle became apparent. Due to the fact that there were only 4 people in our club, it would be awkward if half suddenly became a couple. To top this whole mess off, we could all see plain as day that my friend truely hadn't moved on. So, when "asked out" for lack fo a better term, I stalled. Wouldn't you? In the end, my friend was so important. But here's the thing, so was this guy. Trust me, he was and still is awesome. Somehow, things just fell apart and no one knew why, although the piece could be seen without obvious headlights knows as other friends' noiseness. I guess he figured that because I never accepted the invitation to be his girlfriend, we had to settle for Avoidance. Why the capital? Why not? It deserves it's own chance with the Shift key. For what else would we call "well, is he going"? Or more famously, "what the heck happened to skating on the Canal, hanging in the library and talking about nothing"... Ok, well maybe that's MY definition of well-known.
The point? Just because someone forgot to say a few ground-breaking sentences, why do we have to act like we each have a different plague that could be devasting upon introduction?
That will be all (:
Until next time, have fun Gaians!
