My primary RP character, Cyrx, came into Gaia late on in his story, as he began existence in the more literate RP forum, Shadowed Light. I took this into consideration, and realized that there are a few people who may be interested in Cyrx's origins and his other exploits prior to joining Gaia. For those people, I present: The Origin of Cyrx.
Cyrx lives in a large city, much like New York, in which he's used to a rough street life, as well as the keep-to-onesself attitude that some city people take on. Shortly after graduating from high school, Cyrx was re-acquainted with an old friend who had left during his junior year, Blythe. At the time, Blythe was still in a different city, and had just returned to visit. She ran into Cyrx (His full name is Cyrx Getter, for those interested) in a local night club, where he'd been frequenting, since he was a fan of the rave scene. After reminiscing for a short period of time, Blythe let slip that she'd been bitten by a "lunar" in the city in which she'd currently resided, which was strictly against lunar rules; they don't allow their existence to be known at all costs. This typically means killing the non-lunar party in question. Since Blythes then pack Alpha did not yet know about this slip of their existence, Blythe considered Cyrx safe and returned to her pack's city shortly after.
For the few months that followed, Cyrx began to develope a bias against the lunar race (For those not familar with lunars, these are people who have been bitten by another lunar, thus transmitting the virus which causes one to transform into a lunar. Much like Lycans, lunars can revert to an animal form. however, they aren't strictly bound to wolves or predators of the canine variety; a lunar can be any predatory mammal. Blythe is a black jackal in Anima form, as is Cyrx. Another difference is that Lunars have three forms: human, Anima, and Beast, which is a combination of both animal and human). Unbeknownst to Cyrx, it somehow got out that he had a dislike for the lunar race, and word soon reached the Alpha of Blythe's pack.
Blythe returned to the city in which Cyrx inhabitated once more to warn him that her pack's Alpha was planning to hunt him down, but he attacked the club Cyrx was in before she could get him out, and so was forced to bite him, thus transforming him into a lunar. Cyrx had now become the one thing he hated, and soon after shunned himself from everyone and everything. Since the transformation was not a mutual decision, the virus had only infected part of his gene sequence, which caused him to go into a blind rage when he reverted to his beast form; he wouldn't remember anything he did whilst in that form. This botched "infection" is commonly referred to by other lunars as a "misbreed", and are usually looked upon with the same disgust as humans are by most of the lunar race.
Blythe later returned to the city and joined a pack whose Alpha went by the name Jenner, as she'd been rejected from her former pack due to the traitorous act she commited when she transformed Cyrx. Jenner decided to seek out Cyrx so as to get him to join his pack, and they soon found him locked away in a local psych ward, convinced that he'd gone insane and that lunars weren'r real. His mind broken, it took several months before Cyrx came to grips with his current reality, and accepted the fact that he was now one of the creatures he'd hated since he learned of them.
Currently, Cyrx has been sent off to a boarding school so he can regain his lost persona and begin to interact with people on a normal basis once more, though his reluctance to interact with others is still present.
Well, I hope this adds some insight as to where Cyrx came from, and where I plan for him to go (though no one can really know that, as it is ultimately my decision as to what his fate will be...).
