Valentines Day should be used as capital punishment!
Think about it: spending a perfect, romantic day with a loved one is presented through the media as the desired social norm, thus promoting low self-esteem and loneliness in those who have no one to spend it with. It's an emotionally predatorial holiday!
That's why, this year, I'm gonna sleep all day through it, then party all night. That way, I'll spend as few waking and sober hours as possible thinking about the person I won't be with. I'm boycotting Valentines Day!! Who's with me?
