Portobello turkey burgers! Ingredients: turkey patty(raw or precooked frozen) One large portobello mushoom (Or four small, your choice) Burger buns Oil for cooking Condiments & burger toppings of your choice
Cooked or thaw turkey patty as instructed on packaging, set aside on plate(placing cheese on hot patty is optional). In same pan used to cook or thaw patty: spray with cooking spray or lightly oil(about 2 tablespoons). Pan should be on medium or between medium high heat(mushrooms become more juicy & meaty & tender the lower the heat & the slower they cook). Add portobello(s) to heated pan, salt & pepper to desired amount(maybe you're a salt-aholic who am I to judge). Wait three minutes, do not be afraid of the sizzling sounds! It is NOT burning! Drizzle oil over mushrooms, Flip, salt & pepper, wait two minutes, repeat the waiting two to three minutes & flipping without the reseasoning or oiling step until Mushroom(s) are soft and tender or till they are the texture you like to eat them! Remove from heat onto small plate, build your burger how you like & enjoy!!
