This journal is whatever it needs to be.
This is for whatever I put in it, for people to read.
Hey, it's a new post.
Two things to rant on.
Grammar and common civility.

I'll start with grammar.

Have you ever ignored someone in Rally or Towns because you outright couldn't understand them? Too much txt tlk? Another language, perhaps? This can be a big problem for a lot of people who are either too young to understand, or for those who are still learning English.
Don't get me wrong, the site itself is doing a great job of keeping its language simple enough for the common user, but enough rich text to keep the older users interested in the content. This site was built for English-speaking users, not for Spanish, German, French, or even Japanese. I'm surprised that it doesn't support Japanese because this site is heavily influenced by Japanese pop art (anime), culture, and...emoticons.

The problem is obviously the users. Like I said earlier, this site is built for the English language. Not any other language, nor symbol set. Now, I'm not saying that this site should shoo off foreign users, but those joining should know that the majority of the community does not understand foreign languages, nor advanced English. If a newer or lesser English-skilled user were to be engaged in conversation with someone of high school education and a tight grasp on the English language (like myself), the less-experienced user would most likely take false offense to the advanced English.

Now this ties into education, the education budget, minorities, illegal immigrants, etc., so I am going to stop here.
Now here is where I translate this into layman's terms, and also where I start to sound racist. I will try to place my words as carefully as possible.

Basically, the community of this website has little toleration for those who don't speak English well, or at all. A series of smaller websites could be set up for Spanish-, French-, Russian-, German-, and Italian-speaking users. Maybe one for people who just can't stop 'txt tlkng.' Maybe I'm thinking too big, but some change is always good.

Now, for common civility, or in layman's terms, manners.

"i like you"
"What?"
"your hot" (Again, this ties into my first rant)
"Uh..."
"wana hav sex"
"No! Go away! Please!"
-crying emoticon-
"fine f** u ugly"

You know who I'm talking about. Those girls who want to go out with you as soon as they walk up to you, but mouth off when you ever-so-politely tell them to go kindly f*ck themselves. Those guys who womanize any female figure within sight, and don't stop no matter what you say or do (unless you say you're a guy). Don't deny it. It happens to everyone. Now don't get me wrong, I like messing with noobs as much as the next guy, but I try to restrain myself. Online Karma, if you will. Noobs are people, too, believe it or not.

It's a vicious cycle. If a noob or lesser-minded individual displays bad or unusual traits towards you, you naturally respond with aggression or ignorance. Ignorance is fine if they're trying to piss you off, but it doesn't hurt to mingle with new people every once in a while.
If a noob is asking for donations, and you don't want to donate, tell them that you simply don't donate, or you're out of gold (which is usually my case). Don't ignore them. Rack up some good Karma points by not being an a*****e. If, by some act of pure saintliness, you DO want to donate, go ahead. It's your gold.
The problem is in everyone. The noobs don't know any better, and the upperclassmen either mess with them or ignore them.

Me? It varies. If someone tries to sell their services (not that kind of service, mind you), I inquire and decide at that point if it's worth it or not. Even if I decline, I truly appreciate politeness and professionality, since it is very rare to find in the community. Again, Karma.

In layman's terms...
If you're nice to me, I'm nice to you. Try to find a good response in other people by acting nice first. I'm serious, this works in real life, too. "Please" and "Thank You" never killed anybody, either.

That about wraps it up, thanks for reading and please subscribe!

This is my first long rant in a while, sorry if I'm rusty.
