A Random Poem...Er...Thing
The tightening of my stomach,
The racing of my heart,
All tell me to love you.
But I can't just give my heart away, yet again.
After what happened before,
I don't think I could stand it if you left.
My entire existence calls your name,
But my memory warns me that the past
Has a habit of repeating itself.
How can I want to love you so much?
Is it even possible?
I want to stop this now,
And never love again,
But how can I do that when
You are standing there smiling?
The tightening of my stomach,
The racing of my heart,
All tell me to love you.
But I can't just give my heart away, yet again.
After what happened before,
I don't think I could stand it if you left.
My entire existence calls your name,
But my memory warns me that the past
Has a habit of repeating itself.
How can I want to love you so much?
Is it even possible?
I want to stop this now,
And never love again,
But how can I do that when
You are standing there smiling?
