I just got back from Busch Gardens! I woke up at about noon, and my grandparents and I went to their AAA, and Grandpa bought me a year long pass to Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida as a surprise!!! So when we got there, Grandpa and I rode the Stanley Falls Flume (Grandma was smart and sat out), I sat in the front. When we came down the big drop the water splashed up and doused me. I was soaked! And, because it was a surprise, I had worn a mostly white T-Shirt and a dark pink bra. My bra stood out like a ***** at a Barney convention. But Grandma didn't get the picture she wanted, so we had to ride it again. This time, even though I was still in the front, Grandpa got soaked. Grandma still didn't get her picture, but we didn't ride it again.
So, while walking around as a One-Girl-Wet-T-Shirt contest, I noticed an orange Rollercoaster off in the distance. I wanted to ride it (even though I am terrified of heights), so we set off in search of the coaster. On the way we kept noticing these girls (and a couple of guys) in yellow uniforms. Grandpa stopped and asked directions (GASP! A man from my family asking for directions? It's the Apocalypse!) from a few of them and it turned out they were cheerleaders visiting from Brazil.
Then we got down into Timbuktu (the area of the park, not the country) where the rollercoaster was and there were a couple of other rides. First Grandpa and I rode the Cheetah Chase. It was really fun when I stopped freaking out. It was fast, and the turns were really sharp and jerky. That's why Grandma wouldn't ride it, she prefers smooth rides (she just had surgery, so I don't blame her). But, she did go on the Desert Storm (I think that was the name, it isn't on my map). That one was dull, it was slow, and the couple sitting in front of me were all over each other. Which really made me mad, because I love spinning rides the most! And, it is awful when they are not awesome!
The rollercoaster I had seen turned out to be the Scorpion. I was so scared when I got on, I thought I was going to wet myself. Grandma was scared too, so she made Grandpa ride next to her and I had to sit alone. The first rollercoaster I rode since I was six, and it was PURE AWESOMENESS!!! I loved it! It went really fast up and down and in a loop!!! Whoo! When I got off I was so dizzy, and Grandpa was feeling nasea, and a bunch of the rides were closed, so we headed back toward the entrance.
On the way out, I got to see the Flamingos again. I LOVE FLAMINGOS. I was still soaking wet.
Because I have a year round pass, we are probably going back before the rest of my family gets here. And, maybe Sanzo and I can come back here when she graduates. I hope so, I still have to ride the SheiKra!
