For today as I know I have been quiet, haven't been felling all that well.
On the news they were talking about Sketchers Shape up shoes. These shoes I have never trusted at all as they never made sense when they would say on the ad that they would tone your body right when you put them on. I have learned now I was right to never trust them.
The shoes are made to be off balance, making your body work harder to get balanced while wearing the Shape up shoes. If you can get used to them then you will have new problems to worry about other than first in breaking your neck. Women have reported having pain in their back and hips or one of them. When examined the women had bone fractures forming on the bone. These shoes caused bone fractures in women who wore them for a long period of time, which is what the ad enforces is for women to wear them all the time and they are to make you in shape.
Sketchers denies that their shoes cause any health problems. They also deny that women who reported foot pain and ankle pain gained this pain from their shoes. The shoes cause rolled ankles to form (whatever that is I'm not sure but sounds painful) and caused their feet to become damaged and this damage was I think for some temporary and others permanent.
Now Sketchers in denying all these claims and medically proven facts are targeting grade school children with these Shape up shoes. This is a disgrace. Has anyone ever seen a Sketchers ad targeting boys or men to be in shape? To look young and hot? No, I thought not. They are only targeting females adult and young girls now. How low can someone be just to try and make a quick buck?
Sketchers defense was saying they are telling kids and adults to be active and healthy like Ms. Obama. I have seen their ads and they tell you "wear them everyday, slip them on and start slimming down" and to the one with the kids which came out recently I think telling girls basically they have to be skinny, popular, and peppy and look like a hot teenager before they are in their teens.
Ads and shows like this is why we have eating disorders and death by an eating disorder. The government and shows and movies are telling girls and women "there's something wrong with you if you don't look like this all the time and act like this all the time" this is also why we have people getting so much botox and other things done is because the pressure and sexist of the country in telling women they have to act this way and look that way and to always be perky and youthful and to always be happy and this and that.
How many ads to you see targeting men to look youthful or to always be happy and saying "you must look like this and be this way"? None to little. There's little to no ads or things in movies that target men like that except for saying "have a bigger manhood and get every woman pregnant that you see" which to me is why there are rapes and other things happening. Movies, tv shows, news, and government are showing people its glamorous to get pregnant early and to keep having kids no matter who they are with and that its okay to have relations with anyone they see.
This world is going down hill fast and its because the government, movie makers (some if not all yet), tv show producers (some if not all yet), and maybe others that I am forgetting are telling women mostly "you must be a size 0 and you must have huge breasts and you must always be happy and you must always be home and wait on your man hand and foot and you must have kids and take these kids to every extra activity sport imaginable while also preparing full fresh meals that you grew yourself." so on and so forth.
